@ElliottGarage Can you please pre-count when recording? Maybe I have to tell you 😆😆😆
This is actually something I’d like too. Perhaps you could add it to the roadmap
Ah, so pre-counting is a future function? We're doing badly, very badly
Oh dear. I think they’re back.
Please show some respect.
IMHO EG NODES was a spectacular app at launch 🚀 - and now all the additional features and tweaks this developer has made have made Nodes one of my absolute favorite apps of its kind on iOS mobile.
Nodes easily replaces about 5-6 apps for me in one well-designed and intuitive interface.
Well done @ElliottGarage - Bravo 🙌 !!!
I think we’re seeing the return of some previously banned trolly members. Doesn’t usually last long.
Moderator ?
Just block that user. It's easy to do.
Click on the user name, click the drop-down at the top right of their profile page, and select ignore.
You'll feel so much better not having to struggle not to respond to their rudeness and entitled attitude. You won't accomplish anything except to feed their sense of victimhood by responding. (It's taking me forever to learn this myself.)
@ElliottGarage - I hope you're not letting the attitude bother you. We love ya! ❤️
Here here! +1 ❤️
Ahah no way…too busy with the tiny little boy here! Ps a new beta is coming 🤣
So for you the pre-count function of the metronome is a troll???
If we're not talking about a free app, but about an app that I paid 18 fucking euros for, then the developer must show respect and not me, damn it.
I'm not a troll, but a simple user who paid for an app, and wants to help make it big
People are referring to your tone and manner of interacting. Maybe you aren’t aware that you are coming across as rude and entitled when commenting.
It is possible to request a feature without being insulting or demeaning about its lack.
Ok since you are all geniuses here, I will remove myself from this forum, and sing and play by yourself. @ElliottGarage Good luck, you've lost a true critic who doesn't just give praise, but who tries to make you understand where you're going wrong. Make do. See you in some time and see who was right
I'm not insulting anyone, you're the ones saying I'm a troll!
I did not say you are a troll.
I said you are coming across as insulting or demeaning. I said nothing about trolling and even said that maybe you don’t know how you are coming across.
[Remembers what the ignore button is for.]
Meanwhile, I came to the dev with what was a pretty showstopping bug for me — projects were being saved incorrectly, and in a way that made me feel like I was going mad. @ElliottGarage asked for my project file and had the problem fixed and shipped to the App Store within 48 hours, and told me a workaround that I could use for the hours I waited for the update. This is the most responsive I’ve seen a developer be in such a context.
It’s not a perfect app. It’s pretty good for a lot of people, though, and is being developed in quite a responsive way. Reality exists if one wants to access it.
(A question for @ElliottGarage though: I was using Nodes as a sequencer in an AUM project, and could therefore share that AUM project for troubleshooting. I’m probably missing something, but how would one share a Nodes project when running standalone?)
thanks for your words
To share a project swipe left on its name in the project list
Hush up little man. Nobody cares.
Thanks!
According to forum ground rules, both parties should show respect. The developer has gone out of his way to do that. You have not.

Most of us end up toeing that line more than we should sometimes. You've not only crossed it but have kicked sand over it. That's the only beef anyone has with you.
@dav30383 Maybe you misunderstood @ElliottGarage. He did not mean you are a tiny little boy. He just had a child 2 days ago and was refering to being busy with that. Please feel free to add your feature request to the roadmap as it does sound handy. Features get added to this app in an incredibly fast tempo and your input could really make a difference in making it even greater if you invest the effort!
He’s not taking about you. His wife just had a baby boy 2 days ago and he’s reasonably occupied.
Try being courteous with your criticism and requests and you just may find this developer is very responsive to reasonable feature requests. He’s also very quick, when he’s not tending to a brand new baby boy.
Who knows? Maybe if you relax a bit and try to be a little more considerate, you’ll find that your 18 euro investment was wise, and you may also become a fan of this developer like some of the rest of us.
I think this is just a case of a misunderstanding on your part. Give civility a shot and you may just be surprised at how well that works.
Congrats on your Baby Boy, EG..
I misunderstood then and I apologize, unfortunately I'm going through a bad time and I'm very nervous @ElliottGarage forgive me if I was rude
@dav30383 very big of you to apologize after a misunderstanding when you arn't feeling well. Anxiousness sucks and can really have an impact on our social interactions. I will say i can understand your (mis)interpretation if you don't have prior knowledge of these specific events.
I hope you have a good safety net of friends and family to talk about it. Just remember: you are OK and the bad times don't reflect who you are or can be as a person!
All that being said: your feature request was pretty good (you should submit it) and I think everyone in the community would be glad to have your input!
Have a nice day!
I added it here yesterday https://eg-nodes.canny.io/feature-requests/p/count-in-for-record
