True dat, they were more christmas biased though… here they are, exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
The scrape continues… other ideas in this vein more than welcome! Ideally silent and public domain, although I am sure that’s more a guideline than a rule.

Love it!
Received 2 submissions already!!!!
I’ll give it a go. Might force me to create some music.
do it!
I’ve got my submission at least half way ready. Just some finishing touches left. Will be sending it your way before Friday.
perfect thank you!!
Come on, this is the ABF Collective. No music allowed!
Hahaha brilliant!
I think that’s an excellent name for the album, unless anyone has a real aversion to it. Plus, dead/historic languages seem to be in my head this morning, so it fits doubly!
(BTW I’m replying as I go to the zillion posts that have appeared overnight, so apologies if I say something that becomes nullified by later conversations!)
Yup, number 1 is great!
Never thought I’d see the day when Jordan Rudess shaves his goatee off.
Mwahahahaha!
Hahaha
Loooool 😂 😂😂
Loving the artwork in this thread.
Egesung isa new word to me, and I love it as the title. It could maybe get a subhead, like a dictionary definition, so people can understand where it comes from, and why we are doing this, e.g.
Egesung: Old English, ‘dread’…
An iPad Halloween music compilation from the AudioBus Collective. All proceeds to the international medical charity, Medicine San Frontiere.
(FWIW my fave art of the above so far is the 19th century seance with an iPad, because of the colour, and the incongruity of it. 2nd fave - the zombie with the iPad, as it is a single, strong image.)
I’ve never done ‘spooky’ music but it sounds like a fun challenge & a nice thing to do for charity.
My first thought is having an Edgar Allan Poe quote with Textquencer going along with some long, spooky sound textures triggered with BounceBud. Lots of cascade and Alteza instances as well.
Synthmaster has some spooky presets (that I remember from Doug’s streams) but have no idea what other synths could be, so I’m open for synth suggestions
Can I have some help with this? I mean I can produce a wav file that doesn’t clip, the LUFS thing I’ve read about several times but never really put into practice. What do?
While I’m asking, a LUFS meter au recommendation?
I prefer Youlean's Loudness Meter. It's free unless you also want the graphs. Lifetime access seems to currently be either currently $17.99 or $29.99, can't tell which at the moment. (I paid $19.99.)
I’m definitely going to use tarot cards while making my song. Maybe I should get started lol
I had so much fun making this. It’s not “spooky” per se, but very dark indeed. Hope you like it. I recorded the audio but not sure if I should submit it
I can share the AUM file as well, if you want to.
Cool idea - I'm up for making some 'egesung' music.
I also recommend Youlean - I paid for the full version too.
Hi all!!!
Great project, thanks!
This time I don't have enough time to participate in the project, for next time, since it is something beneficial, I could even collaborate with the mastering of all the tracks so that everything turns out as best as possible and there are not so many problems with the levels
