    Top 3 biggest purchase regrets?

I don't know lol, there are too many and most I haven't touched in ages

Probably best for developer relations to keep it vague. 😎

That thought did not escape me either, yes. Anyway, my point was more that I couldn't even answer that question, as most of the apps I never ended up using enough to assess.

Sure, I’ve had a few but I think it’s on us to be more careful and discerning. it would be unhelpful to make such a list .

Absolutely, I wouldn't want to share a list like that.

+1 The fewer developers we scare away from iOS the better.

Thank you to whoever in this thread recommended Aparillo. I’ve been disappointed in most of my Sugar Bytes buys but oh wow… just bought the Aparillo IAP and the sounds, my god. Amazing.

I'm curious to hear a bit more about how Sugar Bytes apps have been disappointing ... you're entitled to feel that way of course, it's just that their apps are some of my favourites, though they sometimes can sound pretty wacky and out there when going through factory presets, and they usually take some coaxing to get more usable and musical results, but boy is it worth it! They usually have excellent very detailed but readable manuals and it really is worth spending some time working through them.

Which SB apps do you have?

Factory, Egoist, Drum Computer, bought them all, they just didn’t click with me. No judgement on the apps themselves. I love Unique though. And now Aparillo!

Yonac’s KingB organ IAP are $3.99 each right now. Is that a sale price or regular? Kind of makes me mad that an app that’s normally $25 doesn’t already have all the important organ setups and time-honored tones included.

I don't know what you consider "the important organ setups and time-honored tones", but it covers all the bases for me. Maybe I'm not an organ connoisseur, but I love the sound of organ and this app sounds fantastic to my ears. Also it has a big pile of presets that mimic famous organ sounds in recorded history.
I don't know why I'm defending this developer, either. I just like the sounds and it adds a lot to my creations. I think $3.99 is an amazing price. I bought it when it was at an intro price, and I constantly reach for this when I want organ in my mixes.

“important organ setups” and “time-honored tones” are titles of two of their IAP’s.

Really? I've never seen those. This is all that is shown on the app store listing:

?? Yeah.... I guess. These must be mystery IAPs or something. Whatever. It's a great organ AU. I don't get the gripe.

it was more of a question than a gripe - the question was; is it a sales price or not?

No, the IAPs are the original price. The app is on sale for $5.99. Nice price. The IAPs sound great.

The Yonac sale finally pushed me over the edge and I got the KingB and one IAP. Extremely happy with this one. I don’t know why I waited so long.

Aparillo is their best app to date in my opinion. Massive cinematic sounds are no problem for it.
