Can anyone get Virsyn Band Delay to load in anything?

A number of VirSyn plugins (including AddStation) no longer work for me on desktop as Audio Units in Logic Pro. They did previously.

In my case, I’ve contacted Harry Gohs (VirSyn) and hope to have some kind of resolution to the AU issue.

  • Hello , did MixBox have a sale ? I’ve looked on the store tab in the app but it still says 79.99

Must've been a very brief sale.

  • Was hoping FAC and Caelum audio might have had a sale. Had my eye on Caelum audio's "Choric" for some time.

  • Me too on FAC. He did one earlier this month or so I think, but it was short. maybe he will do a holiday sale….

  • More Music App IAP Sales

  • I kinda want Fuguemachine, but since a lot of other apps do what it does - just not as stylish - I’ve been holding out for a sale.

Sales come and go, style remains.

    Sadly, it didn't.

Choric is on sale at Pluginboutique for $30 right now. It's a very good plugin. And at least Pluginboutique lets you build up credits to use on your next purchases.

Which apps are like fugue? Only one I know of alternating playheads is mker, fugue machine, and there's another one...

Yeah, there's nothing quite like fugue, though you can often cobble together something similar using a few instances of other apps like Atom2.

Original price was an intro sale price, so this is likely indeed a sale price and the regular price is higher.

There’s this patchstorage patch for Drambo as well. Works pretty well.

Fugue is super nice but for $20 seems pretty high for what it is. Like $10 more dollars you have a full unlock of Loopy Pro. Same price you have Drambo. $20 gets you Koala and every IAP. I don’t know just seems a bit much to me.

Fugue used to go on sale 50% off several times a year. But hasn’t in awhile nor his other apps.

Yeah it works well enough. There’s a quark I’m not recalling with it that makes it not 1:1 but for a patch to work almost in the same vein it’s pretty cool.

Yeah and it didn’t use to be $20.

It was a much more affordable app. I’m not hating get your bag dev. I just doubt the sales are properly reflective of what its potential could be considering the price point.

That app isn’t better than any of Brams or beepstreets which seem to be on the top 200 frequently. They seem to have a good understanding of what their value is and what that price point is to stay in the conversation with new and old iOS music producers.

Just seems like poor pricing IMO

The dev did have a TestFlight going but it expired. Not sure what they’re doing.

It’s a cool app I don’t want that to be unsaid nor seem like I’m put out. Just the pricing of it reminds me of iA Writer in a way. Great app but the devs believe people will pay $50 and be happy and I’m like yeah. Some might. Not most.

It was one of the first apps I ever got, easy to use with AUM and I used it quite a bit. Checking my purchase history I am totally shocked I paid 19.99 for it, I thought I'd paid the same price as the much more featured Koala at 4.99. (this was in ye olde days before discovering this wonderful -yet dangerous - sales thread)
Was going to say it's good but quite limited, thenI just opened it up for first time in ages, turns out it can be extended to 8 bars ...all the time I'd been using it on 1 bar only.... doh!
So thanks to all you guys ... I think I'll now get some more mileage out of this somewhat pricy app.

Hey if it works to make you more creative than the price doesn’t matter much when it’s anything lower than say 40ish I’d say.

So that’s dope! Get more juice out of it!

  • Interesting pricing structure of Fugue Machine in general. I wasn’t into iOS music, hell making music in general until late 2022 but if this pricing is correct it was $5 for over a year.

Then just stays at the same price, the highest price point, for over 2 and a 3rd years. Just a wild pricing activity lol.

Has to the be only app that has this much of a range with little to no rhyme or reason. The epitome of just going off of vibes.

Maybe hasn’t taken effect yet. It’s certainly not 50% off to my recollection. It’s been. $5.99 for at least the past week.

and on that journey from $5 to $20 would you believe, if my old eyes are still working, there wasn't even a single update. but I agree an 'expensive' app used is better than a dozen cheap ones that are not.
