The Holga ones are definitely the most vibey. ♥
Thanks :-)
The Holga is fantastic. There's something about its crappy plastic lens and huge amount of natural vignetting that is very pleasing. it can also be really sharp in the centre. and very not sharp everywhere else...
A few (very different) photos from this morning's school run. I'm loving being able to use all the primes, ultra wide + wide + telephoto...
The new iPhone's camera control button looks like it will be perfect for a future version of XP4N... You'd be able to change all the settings with on slider type thing. Tap once to change film, another to change lens... Not that I'll be getting a phone with a camera control button for a decade or two though
(But I do have a phone with a *cough* action *cough* button...
it's quite refreshing viewing the world in a 2.7:1 ratio
It’s a dogs life…
Spaniels are the best dogs 👍
Love it
This app is great. Great colour rendition. Fantastic updates since it was brought out. Captured a great night shot on Saturday night..
Fantastic :-)
Amazing photo!
Wow that's spectacular!
Update with EXIF and GPS location is out now!
Watching every morning new posts in this thread could become my new hobby. Add fresh brewed coffee with music of choice. There is no better way to start a new day.
All new posts are fantastic, from klownshed minimalism, Toni’s dog (pure winner), monumental breathtaking vistas from Cuscolima (just climbing there is success), to the dramatic street shot from ik2000. Thank you for sharing. 🫶
Agreed 100%... I hadn't anticipated this thread to turning into such a fantastic sharefest. Loving it!
It's hard getting the damn horizon straight! 😅
An in-frame level cum image lock would be cool…
The light and the colors are beautiful though!
Those tilting horizontal lines? I always find those incredibly obtrusive and feel they distract and get in the way of composition more than anything
Update with EV compensation (swipe horizontally) and lossless HEIF support is now live
@brambos is there a way to turn off the shutter sound effect? In general, I like the effect, but if if I’m trying to get a shot while pretending to be liking at my phone, like trying to get a shot of lined up riot police, I’d rather be discreet.
I tried turning the volume all the way down, but that doesn’t seem to affect the shutter sound effect.
Not a big deal. Just curious if there might be a setting that might turn it off temporarily
Never mind: all I have to do is put phone in silent mode. No need for another setting
Ps: great EV and HEIC update. Yes! 🙌
I looked into that. There’s a beta feature to do that which may be available in iOS18.
Today, apps are not yet allowed to do that. The shutter sound is regulated by the system because in some regions it is illegal to have silent camera apps on phones.
Have to disagree here... that simple horizon level indicator is busy saving the sanity of those of us with OCD. Please reconsider as an option via the Settings page.
Much gratitude for the EV compensation... make the B&W finally usable. Of course, you realize that a histogram would go nicely with the EV compensation function.
Turning on silent mode does the trick. Even better than a setting IMO because I don’t have to get in the menu and I can easily turn it back on
Wow the outside shots through this app look absolutely spectacular. Love the colours , lighting and framing. This unfortunately means that I am probably going to have to transition to an iPhone at some point soon. Carrying round a large ipad outside is way too awkward.
Anyhow here some indoor shots . I really love the b/w mode Bram.
Beach on Anglesey earlier today
OMG @richardyot and @GeoTony those shots are soooo good. If you need a guest to just hang out and get to take pictures with you, let me know.
@GeoTony : I’m expecting Patrick McGoohan to come blasting along that beach in KAR120C to tender his resignation at any moment.
Ha ha, we’re not far from there Irena ( @Svetlovska )… Portmeirion where the Prisoner was filmed if anybody was wondering 6️⃣
.
@skiphunt 🤯🤯🤯
@skiphunt that’s a beautiful shot!
