Do you mean something like this - step 1, step 2 and also save the actual drum preset as step 3, but you still have those slot available for reuse in other builds?

You have to save each slots and then the presets. The error does come back sometimes but its just a matter of reloading the saved slots. Annoying but a work around.
I have contacted Klevgrand. The more do the more chance they will correct it.
Ah, that's good. Yeah we're saying the same thing but my screen is from desktop, I hadn't noticed they differed like that.
Ahh that explains.
Your welcome. It was not clear to me either for many months until this week.
I had not figured out I needed to save the slots first when I contacted them
I went back and looked at the email exchange I had with support in March. They said. Anyway, the imported files should be safe and uncorrupted if you save the slots before exiting OneShot. Oneshot only keeps unsaved slots for a while.
This is what I base my saying that you should save the slots. Please contact support too. If more than one of us complains, the more chance they fix it.
I finally done assembling a kit from the samples I bought from Bogren digital. https://bogrendigital.com/collections/mixing-drums-samples/products/krimh-drums-mix-samples
I did a quick comparaison between it and Unholy drums from One Shot. Nothing as been eq yet but it’s definitively sounding more like I want then Unholy drums.
This is also a test of a metal Bass from a sample in Halion. I am going for a klangy metal bass a la Overkill. It’s OK but could be better,
Can anybody recommend bass samples with a very bright strings sound ?
What you think ?

Did you get a reply from Klvgrad? They told me the dev was on holiday and would get back to me when he comes back.
+1 that could save a lot of time and stress
I have as you know @ecou but it isn’t a “fun” process….I’m finding one shot to be a very technical app in that it does exactly everything it should as it should but there’s just a “fun” factor I don’t find that makes me want to explore it the way I want to let’s say with Lumbeat, LP, DRambo, DPP, etc but the sounds are def my fave (only second to XLN on desktop; if AD2 was on iOS dudes I’d literally be like 😱 but as it is I’m so enthralled with iOS)
I think that's where you get it wrong. It's not supposed to be fun. It's just pick a kit preset and forget about it. The fun part it's in the sequencing and that can be done in any app you want that can send midi to One Shot.
Then if I find it purely technical and without fun, wouldn’t that be “right” lol 😆
I guess you’re right dude
(Auto correct pal
)
Epic metal creation.
Sounds very heavy. I like it. The AuroraDSP stuff sounds great. I'm curious to know, did you create the Bogren kit on the iPad?
Thank you
Yes I did create it on ipad. I took all the samples and imported them in the place of the Unholy samples. Why does it not import them in order ? 😵💫 Took forever to order them.
So I have one instance of One Shot with the close mic above or inside depending on the kit piece. And another instance of One shot with the under or outside mic.
I did not bother to do the room mics or overhead mics. That would take 2 more instances of One Shots.
Did you prefer the Bogren or the Unholy kit?
Thank you
I prefer the Unholy snare, and the rest, the Bogren (especially the toms)
Ok then, I'll make a video with the second snare that comes with the Bogren Krimh kit. Maybe you like it better.
I bought the cheaper if the two Bogren sample pack because I was not sure if it would work well with One Shots. The more expensive one as 10 Snares, 8 kicks, 4 tom sets and side stick. Next sale I will buy it now that I know it works with One Shots.

Maybe level match the snare. It seemed to me the Bogren was quieter than the Unholy.
No the other kits from Klevgrand have absolutely no interest for me. Some are pretty weird for such a high price. I want good sounding drum kits not some weird sounds.
Personally, I much prefer the Bogren drum kit — it’s punchier, less muddy, and brighter. Whether it’s the kick, the snare, or the toms, the result is better across the whole mix
That muddyness lead me to look for another kit.
