    You could use a "nonsense" name like Google.

    Call it Fred.

    Or, after some of the confusing Forum posts recently, "Baffle" <---- audio term.

    Make it a bit sexier with "Diaphragm" <---- audio term.

    Name it in honor of the Forum Mods with "Filter" <---- audio term.

    Call it after not knowing the lyrics to a song with "Hum" <------ audio term.

    Call it after some of your posts NeuM... "Distortion" <------ audio term. Just kidding NeuM :smiley:

    Call it after how my brain feels after reading some of knewspeak's posts... "Hertz" <------ audio term. Just kidding knew :smiley:

    Call it after what people say after reading some of my idiotic, unclear posts... "Watt" <-----audio term.

    Or call it after Doug's best friend Watson, "Woofer" <------ audio term.

    I'm not sure it really matters as we are not trying to sell a product and have a catchy name consumers can remember after seeing the ad on TV.

    Call it... whatever.

    I think the fact that AudioBuffs sounds so close to Audiobus makes it the favourite for me. It feels like a connection.

    Now, does it really need a new name at all? Audiobus is a pretty cool name after all.

    I think that maybe something with Mobile or App in the name might be more directly appropriate to the theme of the group.

    That being said, AudioBuffs is fun :) . I guess it gives the community room to grow into other non iOS areas as well.

    It is, and it was fine using that for the forum while the brand was mine, but now that it’s going to Francesco and Andrea, but the forum isn’t, I think they need to be separate

    So the Audiobus brand and development is going over to Francesco and Andrea
    however the forum remains the same except it needs a name change to differentiate between the two?

    I like the use of the word, "Collective" - but maybe with another term. It has a real collaborative feel. But I still like "AudioBuffs" - to me it sounds as apt as "Audiobus" for a forum that covers iOS music content. I dunno.
