  • I find Jim’s plug in to be the most cpu efficient. They are amazing.

Hah, thought the same. I deeply despise Facebook.

So I temporarily disabled my Facebook blocking VPN, copied the link and pasted it into a private tab.
After that I did factory reset my iPad and threw it into the trash. I now have only one left.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • I did glean this from the video…

  • Looks like what I’d like to see from BAM. I’ve never quite jived with the hardware workflow of GR-16, but I do love Jim’s apps. Looking forward to the full reveal on this one.

  • @HarlekinX "Link to Facebook page"

Yeah, the only part of Facebook I use is Messenger to stay in touch with friends and business contacts. I sometimes post links to stuff I upload to Soundcloud on Facebook main...which none of my family and friends there ever really bother to listen to. 😂 I avoid the feed as much as possible. Everything from politics I couldn't care less about (no matter from which side) to posts like "ow, I like totally stubbed my toe, I'm legit so sad rn" and other useless drama. 😂 Twitter/X is no better, especially after the Elon takeover. I remember IG being a bit more chill, but I avoid that too.

I really like BAM, but the amount of crashes makes it unreliable to have some good jam sessions.
I am hoping this app by Jim is a groovebox type of app with au3v hosting.

I’m so ready for this..I see Midi Clip and Audio loops (launcher)…. AU Hosting…

  • From an imagination filling the gaps in perspective this has me feeling both equally excited and potentially being set up for disappointment. ;)

Poison 202 is my most used synth, can't wait too hyped.

I'm proud to say I quit vaping 7 months ago. 21 March was my quitting day. No more harm to my body, wallet, or environment. ❤️

Good for you. Smoking killed my father, so always glad to hear that anyone has got away from that nasty shit.

Exactly mate! Very nasty shit, do NOT recommend. I do Zyn pouches (tobaccoless nicotine pouches), but only as a quitting method. It works the same at the nicotine gum, except the pouches don't turn into a rock in my mouth after 5-10 minutes. Also the pouches don't tastes like cardboard with a hint of mint added in. Again, if you don't do any nicotine, I do NOT recommend Zyn pouches either. Staying off of nicotine is best. ❤️

I definitely buy them all. Used GR16 for a bit but never got too lizard brain lock in with it and my commitment faded, but I could totally respect/admire the endeavor. Hoping this is on the same level potential wise but can be a simpler workflow that sticks, such that I can pick it up every few months and not be lost. This is why I am hoping it is Gadget-esque. I can go years without using Gadget, drop in for a bit and have a bunch of nice jumping off points to easily export to other places. With GR16 I find myself dipping out before I re-hit that peak sweet spot.

  • GR16 is lovely but i never used it much because the recreation of a „real“ groovebox went too far with it‘s small display etc. Never regretted the purchase anyway.

  • Yah, I assume/hope it helped Jim to develop the under the hood elements and now this is a sassy UI/UX re-factoring of all that wisdom. Fingers crossed/hype/hope/whoot
