Microwave 1 iPad
The Microwave defined hybrid synthesis at its best with its unique interpretation of wavetable synthesis combined with analogue filters. Now Waldorf Music brings this magical instrument back into the hands of musicians with the release of the Microwave 1 app for iPads.     Its available in the german store… just bough it :)

    The standalone runs well, but the AUv3 is not listed afterwards :'(
    I try a reboot of the iPad Pro 10.5 (IOS 17.2)

    Update: Reboot fixed the AUv3 availability :)

    It wasnt live for me when searching in the UK, but using the direct store link worked.

    This is an excellent plugin, Ive been using it for a while on the desktop and had no hesitation in grabbing it for ipad too.

    Many years ago I’ve had a Microwave with the Access programmer. Because of nostalgia, last month I ran the demo for Mac, wanted to wait for a sale but then this shows up. Instabuy for me!

    Just like the desktop version, you can import original MW1 presets and banks too.

    Its already a blast having this so conveniently available to use with ipad sequencers.

    Hey @Pxlhg, can you please test Microwave in dRambo? It looks like that dRambo MIDI keyboard cutting release from the notes. Microwave internal keyboard works fine.

    Edit: In AUM, KB-1 and VK work fine, but not dRambo (on the MIDI channel).

    I tested the drambo and mw 1 combo. Sound is great.
    Must be high cpu because 2 instances mw 1 and my iPad 9.gen crashes. Anyone?

    Confirmed, the piano-keys cut out the notes but playing with the pads work as expected?!
    The Microwave AUv3 doesn't send any midi so using it's built-in keyboard for recording is a no-go...

    Glad I have a new iPad Mini 7 on the way so I won't have to whinge about "no iPhone port", lol. 😂 Once my new Mini is delivered, I'll be getting this and OneShot.
