Thank you. No. It’s just straight off the OPxy
Man, that is a good piece of kit! I'd say based on your no-nonsense straightforward demos, the OP-XY is worth the asking price, but I wish the asking price wasn't higher than I am right now, lol. 😂
EDIT: By "no-nonsense straightforward", I mean you get right to the music and demonstrations. No bullshit to wade through, and high quality music that makes the machine seem worth its price.
Thank you. Just letting the device show off what it’s capable of in my simple little hands. 👊🏼🎚️💗
Well I say job well done. 👏 Can't wait to hear more of your OP-XY music.
Keep it going i always say:
Ah, satisfying music. Someone said in the Youtube comments they like the top-down view better. I'm going to have to agree with that. VERY well done.
hahahaha
That's the best review of the OP-XY I've read.
Lol! Cheers. 🍻
Hahahaha. Now I have GAS that only purchase could cure 😆
Happy Monday folks:
Thanks! I was just going to post this.
“Ambient & Boards of Canada-Inspired OP-XY Sound Pack: Memory Bloom for Sale”
“I’m excited to share my first sound pack for the Teenage Engineering OP-XY, Memory Bloom. Inspired by the nostalgic and atmospheric tones of Boards of Canada, this pack is perfect for crafting ambient, dreamy soundscapes. It’s all about evoking memories and creating lush sonic textures.”
@echoopera What a nice, chill track mate. 10/10 I wish the track lasted longer as I could get lost in it.
That said, I actually checked yours second after listening to...
@colorsinspace 😳 Well holy shit, if nothing else would've given me GAS for the OP-XY, that most certainly did. Had it on in the background while doing other things online, and god that was so good man!
I reckon I could make a BoC track on my iPad, but the fact you evoked all that out of that tiny magic box is absolute talent. Well done!
Cheers! I sent you a message also…
lol! 😂 Seriously tho, I’m still interested in the XY, but want to wait a while to find out more about it..
Many many thanks.
Here’s another clip that is hopefully as favorable to your ears but leaving you wanting more 😏
Beautiful work! Ah that's so amazing. Going to live vicariously through you and @colorsinspace
this thing is so much fun to create on:
Reminds me of something Tangerine Dream would make. I've been listening to their "Recurring Dreams" album lately, and the music is very similar to this sound. I love it mate.
I am honored by the reference. Thank you. 🙏🏼🎚️💗
You're very welcome mate. I'm listening to their music intently as that is the style I wish to produce. Some of their pieces on "Recurring Dreams" do have very sparse drums, but I don't necessarily consider it beat-based music per se (not like EDM, HipHop, etc). It's just excellent electronic music.
Makes me wish to have the OP-XY, but I could never afford that in my lifetime unless I won the lottery.
Just use Drambo. It gives you a lot of the same tools.

No kidding! Well shit, I think I'll finally get back into Drambo then. (I tried to get into it back in 2021 before the 2.0 update which added regular automation (they only had p-lock automation), back when I tried to create Ambient with it.) And nice piece mate.
I hope everyone is having a good Saturday and weekend for those of you living in the future. Having a go at the setup today and bringing it all together:
Man that was amazing! Great set up, great music.
Thanks @jwmmakerofmusic glad you enjoyed it and thanks for giving it a gander 👊🏼🎚️💗
If anyone is on the fence and wants yet another opinion of the XY, here's my initial take on it:
Nice work as usual sir 👊🏼🎚️
Thanks!
@Tarekith it’s not the same without your huge speakers in the background.
