I think we tagged because NYC is a crowded place. You need to find a way to leave your mark somehow, and you still want a connection to others like you around you, like anyone else in any group, so street dudes who were artistically inclined would put their tags on the wall or on the door to say hello to others, as well as to taunt and/or beef with others on the flipside of things. For example, people have gotten shot or stabbed over one dude or gang tagging over another’s. So it was very real too in the 80s-90s. So it’s almost like an arcane retrofitted modernesque version of a BB/forum in real life ….
My signature custom guitar is an esp custom chaos graffiti axe![](https://forum.loopypro.com/uploads/editor/4v/81fwqjyc8cwy.jpeg)
@yellow_eyez
I hear you brother.
I don’t play guitar but I think this might be my favourite one I’ve seen.
Yah man! Making hiphop beats and graffiti backnn in the 90s was my thing…
Now irs all just done in paper… since I’m not a vandal anymore 🤣
During the 80's electro and hip-hop got me then sampling then jazz.![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
I was a complete jazz head by the 90's and almost advant garde artist.
There's more, we'll get to that at some point.
I'm not saying a word.![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)

🔥 - Thanks for sharing this.
Cheers - @Gravitas
Gear lust triggered. And just before Christmas too.
That's just mean.
Haha my bad wim!!
Did you leave a bad review about this as well because of the file size? It would help the developer if you deleted it if it was you. You have the wrong app. The file size is tiny. In fact, @brambos is known for his crazy efficient coding and tiny footprint.
I very much wish there was an on/off switch for the sequencer. Removing and adding a cable to disable it is a pain if you're using live Solderbox in a session with other instruments. Sometimes needing to mute the whole thing isn't what I want.
Even an AUv3 parameter would help if fitting something into the UI is too much trouble.
AU parameter toggle for the sequencer would be Ace.
It would be a welcome addition to the whole Bram Family, tbh. Some presets have it on, some have it off, when surfing having an easy toggle to stop it from automatically playing on load would be nice.
Been using the cutoff AU parameter. Though it hasn’t bothered me at all, YMMV.
Another approach would be to add double-tap on the receiving end of any plug to disable it in place. That would solve this issue for me and also be helpful everywhere.
Yes, let me think about this one. 👍
Thanks for listening. 😎
I don’t think there’s cross posting on this forum but I figured I’d repost this here
made with 3 instances of solderbox
Reverb - SpaceFields
Sequencing - Solderbox
Hosted - Drambo
(literally just hosting could have been done in AUM)
Video - VS synth
Effects - FAC Punchlab
Edited - “Rarevision”
An inspiring app.
Figuring out the pulsesequncer has been fun!
There is no proper EQ or mastering done on this, just some benefit from FAC Punchlab.
EDIT: Changed YouTube link to proper channel
Would be nice if Solderbox defaulted to INIT patch on open.
It does in AUv3 form. It doesn't in standalone mode. Those were very conscious decisions because we wanted the app to immediately be ready to make sound in standalone mode (and in AUv3 mode there is obviously MIDI connectivity available, so it also makes sound right away).
I dig these choices. 😎
Speaking for myself, I'd prefer if it did not immediately launch into a patch. Would it be possible to add an option in the Settings to change this behavior?
Amazing app. Could become my favorite Brambos Toy 👍
That free cymbal pack sounds really good
Me too, and it’s always good to understand the thought process
This is not the Soundbox thread tho!
I was thinking what did I miss
Not a loss though. Tonight's exploration is going to be to see if I can make any interesting cymbal sounds in Solderbox.
Lol - that explains this:
Yes - I remember that one too, which is why i decided to point this one out!
It’s always helpful! I’ve always been partial to opinionated things though so ymmv.
