If there is no aufx insert per channel, i have already a - very simple - feature request. 😉 I NEED an eq with at least one parametric (middle) band in each channel/track. judging by the mixer page there is only a simple 3-band eq. Is there a more complex eq in the available insert fx?

I was thinking to use aufx (i.e. pro q) for that but if it‘s not available for each track…

There's plenty of EQ options available.

    (That's the main Part EQ)

And if that's not enough you can stack three of these as IFXs per part :sunglasses:

(You can set the type for the lo/high, set the low, mid, high band frequencies, gain and q and switch to an X&Y mode for faster tweaking once the main parameters are set).

And yes I got a 'go' to share, but I'll be focusing on making sure it doesn't bail...

there is an "EDIT" button on the EQ

good catch, hope it‘s what i hope it is 🤔

I wonder why it‘s not shown on the mixer page…different eqs?

You are really wondering why there is not another button in that mixer page 🤣 it’s super full!

Although I think I remember GR16 was standalone only at first also, then he added the ability to use as an auv3 later.

That was true of all his previous apps; GR-16, Pure Acid, Poison.. All ended being converted to AUV3. It might take a year or more, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens to GR 2.

  • I’ll probably purchase this app, I’m just struggling to decide to pick up another iOS host without really understanding what makes it different than the others.
I hope we get jim to drop some more videos pre release.

  • It was an instabuy for me because of the lineage. Jim Pavlov has 3 of the most rock solid, and in my opinion, feature-complete music apps out there. Pure Acid, Poison, GR-16.

At this point, I would buy a paid subscription mirror app if he puts one out. ;-)

do you know if the sampler has ping pong looping per slice in slice mode?

  • Preordered, stoked. My GR2 wish is a file browser with midi file/audio preview similar to helium/loopy. Then I don’t have to load instances of helium to use its browser as an intermediary.

  • I will have to hold off until I hear about export options. Just how complete and separate various elements like fx bus per track etc may be etc etc

As far as I know the loop mode is set for all slices and the slices can be individually pitched.

This is an AUv3 host, not an AUv3 Plug-In.

So we can use multi track recorder within it to record audio?

    Yes.

You have experience that the app gives AUv3 effects access to the hardware audio inputs?

    That’s a good point. I can’t confirm that. I hope it does.

  • What do people think about using this app on smaller devices? The description on the Appstore recommends an iPad pro 2nd gen for best experience. And looking at that mixer screenshot in this thread I am getting the impression that I would need pencil and magnifying glass to operate this on my iPad 9th gen. Will there be any screen customisation options, or should I just forget it?
For me slightly shortsighted live player fiddly UIs are a no go.
And an iPad pro is budget wise a no go.

    Does it support „multi-core“ ?
