Yeah still waiting for the app review. I'm thinking would be released on Sunday morning (if it won't get rejected for some reason) or Monday tops. It's the slowest app review period of the year 😓

Apple are really interfering with me driving my girlfriend insane😞

  • It's up! :) $6! Instant buy.

  • This looks fun! I want to switch the fader to the left and the vinyl to the right of the screen. Is this possible?

  • edited December 2024

    Just nabbed it!

I second the request an option to flip the deck so the turntable's on the right

I think this little beast's gonna lead to some crazy fun!

    Rotate your device 180 degrees. 😬 Until there’s a fix, I mean …

  • This is a lot of fun, apart from all the obvious scratchy DJ fun, the LFO feature set at slow playback and low frequencies creates some unexpected ambient soundscaping possibilities, also layering several instances of scratchbud and multitracking
Very creative fun app, and perfect for the ipad/iOS

Why do you think I purchased it? 😂 Ambient soundscaping, of course.

Yes great isn’t it? Adding percussive accents over drones, then running through ringotron, and true pan and timeless, and….and ……..!!

  • purchased.. then forgot im on ios 18.3 beta.. massive facepalm..

Don't forget Fractal Bits for percussive accents mate. ;)

lol. Will try that. But I really hope it will get updated for right and left handed scratching.

  • Does it work as a live effect or do you need to manually fill the buffer via a record button or similar?

Yeah there is a record button which can record up to 3 seconds. You can keep it recording, which will keep rewriting that buffer. You can also stop recording in which case you’ll just have whatever was recorded on the last run through, so you can also have less than a 3 second recording too. Ability to set the exact time you want to record for in mins and seconds and also in beats would be useful, I think, Cem

You guys never stop amazing me with how you use my apps outside their intended purpose lol

There's another "hidden" feature in the settings menu. Try enabling the "record after playhead" option on the live recording settings, record some live input and scratch..

⚠️ spoiler alert: you'll have a nice little tape delay machine!

    OK thanks. Useful to know.

+1 to be able to set recording time in beats ...

I haven’t missed a way to set the speed negative have I?

    (Other than the lfo)

How do I put this in Logic Pro and record and edit the fader or the scratch jog automation for it….or even record audio from it at all… I don’t get how to set this up in my daw to actually do anything at all with it.
I must be holding my mouth wrong, because so far it’s live only in my use.

Super fun toy, very good potential…but I don’t know that it’s useful for me currently.
Maybe some updates to it will address it…or it’s possible I’m doing it all wrong as well.

That whole series of apps, apart from being ridiculous bargains, are so good for creating scratchy percussive sounds.

    Good call

  • Yea this really looks like an amazing sound design tool for much more than DJ scratching.

Not sure if anyone asked this but what’s the max length of time for the audio you can record/import/etc…?
