Holy shit. Not only is CSP available on iPhone, the annual smartphone sub is only 18 quid/year? I'm in! Can't wait to get started with this app tomorrow. Meanwhile in Artrage...

Anyways, here's what I made so far today...

    love this one!

  • @Blipsford_Baubie Thank you so much, mate. I appreciate it. :)

  • Now two more. ☺️

  • Back when I was doing watercolors I did some studies based on art history; I copied art history masters and mixed them together. Here I used Raphael for the background, Kandinsky shapes and Bruegel for the figure. I hope this one isn’t as scary as my previous post which must have terrified everyone into silence. 😉

Can you link me to your previous post, mate? Perhaps I missed and forgot to comment. 😳 And I don't want to miss a damn thing here.

And WHOA! That's a cool mashup of various visual artists. :) Very well done. I love it, mate.

Thanks for asking, (I haven't had much chance to show my work for a while.) I can't even find it now 😆; I think it was on page 6.
I will reiterate that I think you might try some kind of animation. I still think your stuff would work well as a video; maybe just blending from image to image like a slide show; add some music; etc. Because you work so quickly it wouldn't take long. Btw, I also have ArtRage on my desktop; a fun app.

Hey, common now. With an eye and feeling like that, you should have confidence enough not to resort to comments like that.
I don't know what post you refer to and the thread is filled already with too many comments. I wish we had a thumbs up system like discord or something. Let your art speak without expectation of gratitude. I'm not really honest here because me as well wonders - why no one said anything. I also forget to thank people who does so..
Post more please, love it. This is not mine but...

  • @MrStochastic A slideshow presentation is easy. :) It's the making music that is currently hard. Been in a music creation funk since early April. 😂 Although I plan to push past that for Drone Day in a couple weeks.

    @Pxlhg Agreed, @MrStochastic please post more. :)

  • Today, so far.

  • Polished and extended (keyboard is not going to be there) detail from an old drawing (25 years maybe) I'm now hoping going to be next album cover for Lars Boquist. Nothing is set. Original is graphite and this all digital.

That's amazing! ☺️ Are you able to post a pic of the original graphite one?

    Thanks you!
I'm quite proud of this one (a pretty rare feeling) as it's my own idea to a 100%, you know sometime we borrow a little bit here and there but, not this one.

No, I can't because 1. I'm redoing it from scratch and 2. I wanna wait for Lars to see it first.

    Ah, okay. ☺️

  • Some floral art for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate it. ❤️

  • Made these abstract explorations of primary colours. One is CMYK (primaries for printing), and one is Yellow Red Blue (primaries for painting).

  • @jwmmakerofmusic, these last few you’ve posted are some beauties. Love the texture on these.

@Pxlhg: Great guitar artwork there. You are talented.

Thank you so kindly, mate. CMYK is a lovely colour palette. ❤️ And iPastels is just fun to use. Here's another I made in iPastels.

Idk why, but I love crosses. Maybe my faith or my obsession with Justice's music. 😅

Also mate I think you missed this by @MrStochastic .

I honestly think there should be a sub section on this forum for non-musical creations of all sorts, from woodworking, crocheting, knitting, stone carving, to sculpting, painting and drawing. Would be nice tbqh.

Nice pastel cross art. I.made a 4 foot wooden cross once for a local church sanctuary. Wish I had snapped a pic of it.

    Woah…very nice work there, @MrStochastic!

Thank you kindly mate. Wish you snapped a pic. :) I do love church and Christian art, especially stained glass pieces.

  • @coloringpad That's extremely beautiful craftsmanship! I'm glad you posted these and your website link. :)

Very cool and quite original mobiles. How much do they weigh (ballpark figure)?

  • @coloringpad: Nice. I didn’t know what it was at first, so I checked out your gallery. Very cool looking moving sculptures you make!

@jwmmakerofmusic: now that I think of it, I seem to recall snapping a pic of the wooden cross on my old iPod while making it. I’ll have to dig those pictures out some day and see. Of all the art apps you use, which one do you like using the most? I have to say the ArtRage app you gifted me with is my current fav!

  • Just a heads up! We now have a new Arts & Crafts section under Creations for visual arts!

Artrage app is still my favourite. I tried cartooning in Clip Studio Paint and, well, it's a'ight. Tried cartooning in Artrage Vitae and, vive le difference! :) For instance...

...this cartoon of Bob from Animal Crossing was done in CSP. It was rather a pain to try and make the inked lines. (Afaik, there was no line smoothing in CSP, at least not in the iPhone version. I'll have to look into that.) Whereas in Artrage Vitae...

...I created a funny cartoon of my friend's original character being a bit of a crybaby. 😂 The lines are far smoother, and the colours look nicer in general. And the subtle paper texture completes it. (And of course I can apply my usual abstract painting skills to create a nice background, lol.)

That said, I'm so glad you love Artrage. :) That makes me happy. And hopefully you do find the pics mate. I'm curious to see.

Yay! Thanks for starting it up! Wonderful way for users here to creatively share with each other, and @Neum is right, many musicians are also creative in these areas. I’m going to try and incorporate music with art in some way, maybe make a song to go with the art. You have enough art here to make a really nice slide show vid!
