I've had it for years but seldom find the time to finish projects (to my liking). It's such a great app, I did spend some time with the mother of all sculpting apps: ZBrush, many years ago and Nomad isn't far behind from what I recall. Mr Yot knows far more than I about that though.
Good luck on your continued explorations with it. He has a web site with forum, tutorials and all that if you didn't know already.
5am painting. Insomnia, so my brain is like...
😂🤣
^ I like it!
👍🏻 I’d love to hear it!
Thanks mate. Can't wait to see something new from you. ☺️
More AI-free, handmade art done in Artrage Vitae.
Okay, I made a quick recording for you. There’s only 8 notes, and I’m not sure what the best tuning should be, and don’t know how to play harp anyway, but this recording should be enough to hear what the instrument sounds like.
Should have let the strings settle before recording, they haven’t been tuned in ages. Uses baritone ukulele strings, sounds like a bari uke to me.
@Dav That's rather quite lovely, mate.
Amazing job building and playing that harp!
More fun with Abstract art! ❤️
And a statement...
😂🤣🤣
That's awesome Dav, that chair harp idea, and execution. You should do a Koala pack or something with it. It's so much gratification doing stuff like that with your hands. Sometimes I really despise living in an apartment.
Keeping it musical—here is a cigar box guitar I found at a thrift store and customized. I spent more time arting it up than learning to play it so far, but someday...

Is that a maggot emerging from a steak? LOL. That's funny.
@aaronpc That's pretty clever and also funny.
Excellent craftsmanship.
Thanks! My wife just rolled her eyes.
Sorry to hear that mate, lol. That sucks.
Sounds really nice. The chair idea worked out; but must be on the heavy side. Looks like something a bard would sing to.
Maybe an ear-worm.
Thank you kindly, @jwmmakerofmusic, @Pxlhg and @MrStochastic.
The harp isn’t as heavy as it looks, but I find it easier to play sitting it on top of a table instead of holding it. I think I will sample the harp and make a virtual instrument out of it. Thanks for the idea.
Cool looking cigar box guitar find, @aaronpc. My first thought was it looked like Casper the friendly ghost. I bought a cigar box guitar kit once, but it disappeared. I think my wife must have thrown it away. Love listening to mississippi delta blues played on a cigar box guitar.
S'alright. She's too familiar with my shtick and just wants me to make something pretty for once. Unfortunately, that's even harder for me than practicing guitar.
@MrStochastic That's pretty clever if that's what it is! 😅
@Dav Always, mate, always.
@aaronpc You most certainly can make something pretty. Abstract Art is lovely. You can use Artrage Vitae on iPad/iPhone to make something lovely, or you can go out and buy some acrylic paints or oil paints, and cheap brushes, and nice budget-friendly canvases and get to work. Oh yeah, if you go the trad art route, make sure to get tarp or some plastic coverings as well to prevent messing up your table/floor.
I made these digitally in Artrage Vitae...
...but they do appear very much close to trad art. It's a meditative way to calm down after an eventful day.
Anyways, I encourage you awesome lot to continue posting your artworks here. 🙌

This lovely Adonit stylus works a treat on my iPhone. ❤️ Here's a piece I made with it.
It doesn't have pressure sensitivity, but it's the perfect size to carry in my pocket. ❤️
Wouldn’t it be artistic to have this thread deleted by a mod, only to be remembered fondly by those who participated and or followed it? I’m feeling inspired by, Love is in the Bin.
Lol. Nah. 😂 Not gonna pull an "Unus Annus" like Markiplier.
That's a pretty cool starter.
I know you like paint to calm down and all that but I see a lot of your stuff as very potent starters. In fact, right now, you could probably take a few, 3-5, and layer them with various blend modes.
And that's very quick as well, 10-15 minutes maybe.
If you took as much time as you do with one song - on one finished piece with some of these abstracts you've done.
Well, I would love to see it anyway. 😃
(hope you don't take what I say as criticism, it's not, it's just my thoughts - nothing more, nothing less)
I don't take as criticism lol. Even if so, your suggestions are very constructive and build someone up. ❤️ So all is good. ☺️
You are getting good at absracts and they do look like how they would with real mediums. When I got my supplies out. Noticed some I opened had dried out. All the Golden brand.
They do loads.
Lava gel.
String gel.
Molding paste.
Crackle paste.
Self leveling ( soft gel )
Thick gel.
etc.
You use all tools etc.
Random orbital sanders. Heat gun. Scraper tools.
Acrylic is versitile but you need stay wet palletes. Spray mists. A fridge for paint etc.
Without that and even with.
Paint dries up before you even mixed a colour lol but its probably just me.
I will keep acrylics.
They should be fine unopened or slightly, for perhaps a 1000 years.
I bought acrylic Patty Brady book ( which will link to other artists ) selling books on amazon.
You can flick through books.
Good abstracts you are doing.
Sucks they dried out. Hopefully Golden brand is inexpensive. 🫢 And getting the art to look like real mediums is easy with Artrage Vitae.
Cool! And yeah, acrylics seem like a fun medium. Although some brands tend to dry quicker than others, at least as far as I recall when I used to mess around with acrylics.
Thanks mate. I appreciate you.
Is Artage better than Art set 4 for texture ?
This is the hard molding paste anyway, for risen and dented texture. Sanded/chipped when dry or peaks created, when wet with tools.
Bought it 12 years ago. Un-opened so still good.
Isnt cheap. Its £43 now.

The app is obviously a bargain as you do it justice.
