Yeah batch copy and paste would be great.
Thor runs IAA as a generator, you supply the midi.
In Cubasis you start Thor IAA on an audio track. Then create a midi track with no instrument and route to Thor.
Electric Piano Synth for iPad and iPhone on sale. Ricepad also on sale, is this worth getting?
Ricepad is on sale? I thought that was abandoned. I'm going to take that as wonderfully good news because that's an app full to the brim with innovative UX ideas and potential but not quite workable for me.
Electric Piano Synth gets a solid 'meh' vote from me. If you really dig 80s/DX electric pianos, you'll probably love it. Otherwise...

I'm just recording to audio with Auria but some apps are muting the audio in Auria or won't sync or won't output audio randomly.
@syrupcore, I understand why you thought Ricepad was abandoned, no update for over 3 years, no Audiobus, I'm on iOS 8, who knows if it still works. Think I'll pass.
I'm tempted.
Could someone please post examples of what's so great about IVCS3?
Videos/sounds, or something you've come up with and used.
Turquoise DS just got an interesting update, sequencer, matrix, Audiobus and midi.
Not an app but Brainworx bx_limiter is on sale for $49 for 48 hours to cover timezones but i think it's the last day.

I noticed that, would be good to see a demo of the new features.
Hey! I've been following this thread since page 1. thanks for all the tips. I did end up buying a number of apps that I was waiting for. I also splurged on the PSP plug ins for auria, so thanks for that. I am now eyeing one of the iZotrope bundles... that may be my "holiday season sales" splurge outside of a $500 order of filament for my 3D printer.
Just wanted to say thanks for the tips!
I think i missed something, gadget iap is off, too? Wanted those when released, but i thought it was pricey, but dont remember how much it was
"Turquoise DS just got an interesting update, sequencer, matrix, Audiobus and midi."
Oooh. I love that app. Can anyone confirm the update works ok for iOS 7 with audiobus?
Otherwise I guess I'll be the guinea pig.

Yeah, says 30% off Gadget IAPs in itunes.
@Matt_Fletcher_2000, I gave Turquoise DS a quick spin on iOS 8, the sequencer is a little buggy, some of the sounds didn't trigger in the sequence, then I tried another sound and then it worked, haven't tried the matrix yet though, or Audiobus. It's certainly a welcome improvement though.
Cool. Thanks. Think I'll give it a spin on iOS7.
MIDI in would mean I could play it with ProMidi or SPA. Which would be cool.

Yep I agree, it's more than a drum machine, more synth, really interesting in the sound creation department with this one. It's coming along nicely.
I might get this as well today, it'd be nice to know if it plays nicely with iOS 7 Matt
Hi @Monzo
Updated Turquoise DS to latest version. I'm running iOS 7 (last version).
All seems to work fine. Few crackles when running through audiobus into AudioShare initially but settled down. Didn't extensively test different chains or anything but I recorded into AudioShare via AB successfully.
Funny app. Some very noisy sounds. The matrix/sequencer is quite useful for quickly trying out all pads. Would also be useful for laying down all the pads evenly spaced, recording into a single audio file and then playing with creatively in a slicer like Egoist, Samplr, Abu, Sector or even Nanostudio's basic slicer.
Bad things:
almost impossible to up the tempo because you need to swipe up but the button is on the extreme top edge. Almost comic!
really needs better knobs / dials. So much swiping involved to change values
synth is ultra striped down terms of UI. Everything just numbers. Lends itself to randomly changing things. So all a bit pot luck.
But it does create some interesting sounds and it is effectively 9 instances of a synth in one app.
Haven't tried MIDI bug it looks like IN and OUT - but just note data for pads. Not any parameters.
p.s why is this in this thread ? . I'll make a new one.
KORG iOS apps Special Sale Extended!
ends on December 31st, 2014.

I was fretting about buying iPolysix tonight but saw the extended date. I really doubt I need it (someone convince me otherwise...I've got just about every serious iOS synth), but I'll probably grab it next payday since they extended it.
same here, i have all except iPolysix and Module, coz im still on ios7
iPolysix is absolutely not needed if you already have a collection of other iOS synths. A few nice features like chords and the song mode thingy but you will not mine any new sonic territory with it and you can not adjust the MIDI channel.
the same as ims20, has it all except midi ch change
However the soundcloud sharing on i polysix is really igreat for drums. You can download hundreds of songs from the cloud. I like to use them as a drum machine by simply muting the synth parts and then triggering the drum sequences in various patterns. As a drum module alone ipoly is well worth the full price even. Tjere are some great patterns for remixing! This is also why rebirth is so much fun.
@syrupcore said:
If you love the 80's, though, iPolysix has THAT sound.
ms20 has very nice drums, too

Yes I do the same with ims20 that I do with Ipoly for drums. So much free and in many cases very good content there.
50% Sale also on Korg Legacy Desktop Versions Too.
A question about iMS-20...the drums in that app, are they MS-20 generated ?
Thanks
