I think it's worth a mention that Otoo works on iOS 15.6 - my 2014 iPad Air 2 is having flashbacks to its state of the art glory days
this thing is fun. it would be cool if it could sit in a instrument of fx slot in AUM.
Thinking about it, probably AuMFX would be the best here.
My 2nd Otoo Beat mess around. Yes. The FX on this thing are sick.
Most Crunkacious there, fellow entity.
Seconded! 3/4 is so much fun and often overlooked. @giku_beepstreet Then you can teach your kid how to make sea-shanties and waltzes!
Yes! That's on the list.
btw. there are 10 beta slots left
Feel free to join (until it's full)

Showing as full now unfortunately.
I added 5 more. (but this is the maximum
)
Thanks @giku_beepstreet, I’ve just taken one spot…4 left as of right now I guess. Cheers.
A quick word of warning: installing the beta straight over the public release deleted all of my saved projects except for the most recent which was auto-loaded on startup. Don’t know whether this is related to the saving problems I reported on the Beepstreet forum - maybe, even though the projects appeared to be there as options when Load was pressed they were never really there?
Either way, certainly my own fault, but backup your projects before installing the beta over the public release.
Not your fault. That would not normally happen when installing a beta
Hmm, this shouldn’t happen, it hasn’t occurred in any other projects. Please double check in the Files app.
In fairness to Apple (for a change!) there is a warning when you’re about to install a beta over the public version about exactly this possibility.
You might try to reinstall the App Store version and see if projects come back
Ah, yes, they’re still there in the Otoo folder via Files. My mistake - it usually is! That folder wasn’t automatically opened by Otoo when Load was pressed, it was showing me the Recent files instead. Should it automatically locate and open the Otoo folder and open it when Load is pressed?
Apologies for the erroneous info everyone.
@Robin2 It opens in the last mode you used. So if you were working with recent files, it will open in that mode again.
Cool, got it.
Here we go (beta)

Silly request. Any way to make the AU icons smaller?
Aw Shucks. To late for the beta but definetly looking forward to trying this once the update is ready!
Move your device further away?
Won this from you Gav, on Patreon. Will check out the vid and get busy playing!! Thank you!
Oh cool haha, sometimes people have different names on different platforms so I'm not sure who you are there!
@giku_beepstreet
Congrats on the launch! What's your preferred way for me to contact you directly? I had a report of Battalion misbehaving in Otoo:
When I open Battalion in OTOO, the first trigger via midi makes a loud sound (like maybe every sound at once?) that also seems to clip and cut out. There are other minor things that seem funny with preset loading and AUV3s within OTOO, which I attribute to bugs-on-release on their end.Thanks a lot for this, @giku_beepstreet !
Another thing, would it be possible to do staggered chords (for poly synths) or activate glide (for mono synths) by overlapping notes within the same track? Currently, the two tracks shown below produce the same results.

Thank you! You can use PM on this forum, or the official bs email.
Looks like an issue to be fixed. Thanks a lot!
Thanks! Hoping to crank out more crunkaciosness in some free time. Luckily this app is quick enough to do just that
