  • Still wrapping my head around this guy…

A little jam with Zeeon, Dagger, Sunrizer and of course Drambo 👀

Silly request. Any way to make the AU icons smaller?

    Move your device further away?

    :D

  • Beat #3

  • @giku_beepstreet sorry to bother you! ☺️🙏

I know I know ”Drambo can do similar things to Impaktor”, 😉 but it would be really nice with a totally new ”Impaktor 2” with a revamped and more advanced sound engine + AUv3. 😁👍

  • Only just tried to open an iPad Oota file on the iPhone. Aaargh. Lane 5 has gone of course. Why didn’t I notice that lol.

This is great! Curious, how did you incorporate drambo?

Using it as a drum machine.

Any drum machine with a built-in sequencer and pattern chaining is a great fit since it frees up one of your tracks. Otoo’s sequencer isn’t really geared towards drums anyway.

Disclaimer: obviously falls apart if you’re messing with sequencer effects

Won this from you Gav, on Patreon. Will check out the vid and get busy playing!! Thank you!

Oh cool haha, sometimes people have different names on different platforms so I'm not sure who you are there!

Is there a way to input multiple notes to a single step to build chords other than doing it in record mode?

Drag the note from the keyboard.

Dude, not only can drambo pretty easily emulate impaktor 1:1 but it can do so, so much more. There are so many more sound generators and processors/resonators to choose from. Not to mention midi
Actually emulating impaktor was one of the first things several people tried with drambo. Just search the beepstreet forum or patchstorage
That said, I would instabuy impaktor 2 in a heartbeat

There’s even an Impaktors project in the Factory projects included in Drambo.

  • Update should be out in a few days. Also, small favor: if you’ve been enjoying the app, dropping a review on the App Store helps a lot more than it probably should ;)

  • Any way to add the built-in FX to the lanes ? I know the principle is to use your own Auv3 effects, but well the stock ones would be plenty enough for me.

Do you mean performance effects implemented as effect nodes? Not yet, but I plan to add native effects optimized for this role soon.

  • Thats's exactly what I meant, that's great to hear !

  • Bought this yesterday. It's a lot of fun!

At the risk of 'scope creep' @giku_beepstreet, adding some kind of random generative function would seem to be an obvious potential enhancement, given that one of its main use cases is (presumably?) quick idea generation🙂

With respect, I completely disagree. No generative function please. Keep it as a playground where you stumble upon your own ideas rather than have them given to you with a button press. Don’t teach newcomers to music making, both young and old, that the way to make music is by asking machine learning to do it for you.

  • Fun lil synthenquencer

First loop: I like the sound farm bank!

    I couldn’t agree more.

  • Yes, that’s why support for musical scales is missing, even though it seems obvious for this type of application.

  • Yes it’s perfect.
Only being able to recording your performance would be even better.
    Nothing more.

This or being able to load as an auv3 so that an audio from a performance could be recorded would be cool. Those master effects are great.

It's on v.1.2 (should be available this week)

    Come on chaps.

  • edited March 27

    v.1.2 is out

    What’s New
    • Added support for time signatures in the Tempo panel: 4/4, 3/4, and 4/4T.
    • Added MIDI export.
    • Added audio recording in Performance mode. The Rec button now turns into a Tape icon, and recordings can be bar-quantized, prepared as perfect loops, saved or pasted into the Sampler.

    Improved
    • Steps in a row no longer stop overlapping notes, so glide now works properly with some instruments.

    Fixed
    • Fixed issues with some Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
    • Fixed an issue where an instrument node could become invisible after being removed.
