Thanks!
Great job with the time signatures and overlapping notes. My only two gripes with the app have been fixed! Now I think this can be my primary app for sketching song ideas. I always get carried away when I start in Drambo.
done
...just one question - would it be possible to have independent length for each line?
That has been requested a number of times, and I think it’s not so easy or we’d have it already
I wonder if a “reset” step would be easier to implement, like if you placed it on the 13th step, the lane would play in 12 (instead of playing the 13th step it would start again from 1)
ah ok, i didnt read all messages here. i can imagine it can be problematic. no worries, just would be nice
Beat #4
@giku_beepstreet not sure if you got my email but I noticed trying the beta that muting Auv3s with their own sequencer like Hammerhead, DigiStix 2 etc does not work. Seems like audio muting is needed.
Sorry if I haven’t responded yet, it's been a busy time. I’m thinking about a clear solution for this. I want the instruments to release naturally while muting.
No prob, just wanted to make sure you were aware.
“Release naturally while muting” - Your attention to detail is evident in the quality of your products.
That striked me also. Releasing naturally is always preferable
Would be preferable to have a dedicated iCloud folder for seamlessly working on ideas between iPhone & iPad which is pretty common for me. I’ve created an Otoo iCloud folder and have taken to copying tracks originated on iPhone or iPad into there - they initially save to the ‘On My iPhone’ or ‘On My iPad’ Otoo folders. Just it’s unnecessarily messy. Once in the iCloud folder, updating and saving the track from either device and opening it on either device works fine. Just be aware the 5th lane (bottom) disappears from an iPad track when on iPhone (odd design choice) but it IS still there and reappears safe and sounds when opening back on an iPad.
Fine work Captain.
@T0n3 can’t tell if you’re requesting an option or a switch. Some of us don’t use iCloud.
Sound for More posted a video(+giveaway) on his Patreon. He made a nasty nasty beat that's pretty inspiring. Never knew it was pronounced "oh-2" I was calling it "Otto"
If it's pronounced 'oh-2', then Sean Bean should be doing the advertising!
Good one. UK joke!
A couple of shorts from me, a dub techno -ish beat and a lullaby. I really love the immediacy of otoo, reminds me of the drambo early days when it wasn't as complicated structurally

Fun stuff Fedor!
I really appreciate the inclusion of the soundfarm bank, would love some more of those types of sounds.
This is genius work! Hands on fun!!
@giku_beepstreet : any chance to get Link?
And while I’m at it: any chance to get some conditional and/ or propability step settings?
i was just about to ask the same question.
What I would love is a bunch of sequencer modifiers that you can drag and drop — like pressing the note edit button would switch the keyboard to sequence mode and you could make loops, conditionals, ratchets and skips and so forth. I don’t think that would add too much complexity
Couldn’t this already do note ratchets or am i misunderstanding something?
Yes.
Funnily enough, I recently dug out an old iphone with Impaktor on it, plugged a piezo trigger into it via an equally elderly iRig, and stuck the piezo on one of my hand drums. Fell in love with that goofy little app all over again. (Same phone has Bebot on it as well...)
Still have bebot on my iPhone 🤨
After all, it was when Nabokov first saw Bebot that he mentioned 'do what only a true artist can do … pounce upon the forgotten butterfly of revelation.'
Is there a way to save a User Preset (Verve Piano) like you can in AUM? You can save a new project, with the right settings for your preset, and use that as a template, but I’ve not found a way of saving a user preset. Would that be a useful addition not seen as over complicating Otoo? And has any one heard or asked @giku_beepstreet where the name Otoo comes from and why he chose it?
I just assumed it was based on his son’s name as the app was partially created for him? Absolutely no idea though.
