Scaler 3 instrument works as a AUv3 and inside Scaler 3 once open you can actually load Apples AU sampler and Synth So a AU in a AU didn’t think that was possible!

Thx but I don’t have one. Feel free to buy a sample pack if you don’t have one. There’s one in the pipeline which will have a toy that probably everyone will want. Something spectral.

Go into the perform window. Bottom of screen is a mixer tab. Click on this and you’ll be presented with the purchase option.

@elf_audio , I can't thank you enough for this amazing update. I finished three tracks today in three different genres in Koala! I can't remember the last time I've started and completed more than two tracks in a given day, mate. 🤯
As you can imagine, Marek, AUv3 hosting has virtually eliminated AUM from my Ambient workflow. One reason is I can (re)sample AUv3s directly now - from oneshots to melodies and riffs, etc. The second reason is, Koala can host my fave reverbs in the buss mixer.
And furthermore, with AUM eliminated, it speeds up my Koala Sampler workflow for other genres by quite a lot too.
Expect more Koala creations in the immediate future. All the best, Jim.
I feel quite conflicted about this release! I mean it’s literally amazing, but… it’s suddenly incredibly overwhelming! Now I’ve got nothing to wish for inside koala hahaha!
Why I cant load some of my effects (Prism or Bram bis Hammerhead)?
Those are 'instruments' and should be loaded to pads.

I loaded Loopy Pro onto a pad, but it does not seem to be receiving any audio. Is that even possible?

Opening a synth ,or whatever, within Koala seems very cool. But what benefit is there to being able to open an effect (as opposed to just opening the effect in AUM)? I guess for folks who don’t use AUM as their go to environment that this would be a cool feature. So Koala becomes better in standalone mode.
