Are the resulting videos generally very low in resolution? Or what ist the reason, why all the videos here demonstrated are blurry and pixelated? (no offend) I am asking this, because I did allot of shader visualization of real music in the past and my workflow was often screen capturing shader tools and cutting that finally together in Final Cut Pro. A such drastic reduction of the resulting quality as seen in the demos would trigger a stopp in me here.

  • All sound and visuals created entirely using dRambo.

This one seems to be quite sharp. 👍
(Answered my last question myself thereby.)

I see the structural problem of all shaders repeating here. Their static perspectives.
It's quite often just a *take the shaders, connect it somehow to sound parameters and ready'.

A video artist still has to develop a certain external workflow, because fundamental techniques of video art creation are just absent. So pro results need clearly something more. Perhaps I'm dreaming too far ahead, prophetically.

Maximum rendering quality 4k, 60 fps quality High.

I am understanding. No, I mean such things like expressing dark feelings with darkness, fizziness with even that and so on - artistic even. In short: I want to put in the audio stream and generate an orchestrated video out of it, not necessarily using Drambo's internal sound generation or sequencer at all , but as a specialized video rendering plugin.

I've been using dRambo Visuals in Reaper as auv3 on my humble macbook Air M1.
If you're used to syncing software then it's very straight forward.

Not the most dynamic video but it does show some parameter changes. Composed, sequenced, and output direct in Drambo.

Might be my YT upload settings, as it definitely has all of the 4k hi rez settings for rendering.

Note, a lot of those above were screen captures from a couple years ago, so that probably has a lot to do with the resolution.

With that said, I do tend to use a lot of blur effects and softening as a preference.

    Here’s the export/render settings panel:

  • is this Ipad only?

No, it works on all idevices and on Silicon.

  • thanks

  • Also, @82sechskant_weide , FWIW, the newest videos, like this one (Which I posted one page back), are 4k renders straight from Drambo. So please check your YT playback settings.

  • Posted without Beepstreet’s prior review so I hope I did ok! I am not an artist so enjoy these rudimentary visuals as I do my best to explain the basics of Drambo Visual. Never has RTFM been more important I think :) and the in-app tutorials. Have fun everyone! I’m looking forward to continuing to create and share some visual patches, get back to creating audio-visual pieces, and record some more focused videos exploring different parts of the Visual side. Most of all excited to see all the different paths people take in this new visual playground!

You did great Ben! @bcrichards I'm sure @giku_beepstreet would approve 👍

That's one of the most important aspects of Drambo Visual at the 25 minute mark in your video, where you explain the per-pixel modulations, and IMO, half the fun!

The exploration and modularity of it is what sets this apart and makes it a truly endless creative playground.

  • Awesome @Gravitas I dig the soundtrack on that, really adds to the space effect.

I'm really looking forward to watching this, thanks so much for recording a walkthrough!

  • The work from the other beta testers and of course beepstreet has been really inspiring! Just wait until you look through some of the presets and start exploring on your own :)

Hey Ben, some beautiful tweaking of the Drambo logo the last 10 minutes! I hope people see this part and appreciate how easy it can be for just playing around.

So cool, thanks for the video @bcrichards

Anyone can say when we might expect this? Not looking for a date, just wanna make clarifying that it’s not out, right? I don’t see it available in the shop.

I think it’s dropping very soon. Sorry I wasn’t explicit in the video.

I’ve seen your past videos and have listened to your music. Nothing but good vibes. I just can’t imagine you making a video with explicit content.😄

  • Love to see what everyone is doing with this

I'll buy the IAP for sure (and have a tinker) but visual stuff is a whole other skillset...Ich hab schon genug Vögel :D
