Bruuuuh…
lol I can't tell if that's a "bruuuuh I love it", or a "bruuuuh, I hate it" 👊🤓
So I've been trying to talk CGPT into making a better 'sun' within the actual scene. (Instead of my smoke and mirrors trick with using a shader)
More testing is needed.
@Gravitas I'm still working on a chroma key solution that is convincing as well, per your suggestion. The journey continues...
I just realized that my upload didn't capture the fade out at the end, but gets rather abruptly cut off. I had a slow fade out programmed with automation during the last pattern, but it didn't get included in the render. @giku_beepstreet
@Edward_Alexander that is next level! So good!
Thank you! I really appreciate that. 🙂
I love it. That’s way i said bruuuuh, and not bruuuuh. 🥸
Damn, this extension is freaking cool. And my M2 ipad pro did not freeze, yet. Crazy
Can‘t wait for the audio/video translation modules
Thanks for clarifying that! 😂
beautiful indeed, I don't mind the sun burning through the buildings
Thank you 🙏
Copied and pasted from the Beepstreet forums:
So I think I figure it out guys. I was doing it backwards and trying to use the chroma key effect on the "sun" where I should have been using it on the actual city scene.
Oh, and I made a new version of the MIDI City.. this time in 3D
So in other words, by Drambo's signal flow (left to right, and top down), the proper chain (to make the "sun" look like it's actually in the background), is like this:
Scene module (with the city) -> Processor Shader (With the Chroma Key Pro effect) -> Shader (with the Sun shape) -> Processor Shader (with Sun Rays effect) -> Visual Mixer. And here I go backwards by adding the Sun first, then the City from the Scene module last.
edit: this is a quick screen capture for now, instead of rendering a finished file, as I'm still working on the music, and want to add some visual automations.
edit #2: tagging you @Robin2 just in case you missed this new, improved "sun" in the background technique.
I've been thinking though, on the first one, it could be argued that being a fictional "city" in a fictional world, that maybe this world has two suns? 🤣
My latest piece.
"Bloom ii"
Now that is very cool.
Indeed! And your latest fractal is very cool as well. 😊
Thank you.
🙏🏾
I haven't had so much fun with fractals in years and in actual fact
I'm starting to surpass some of my own digital art work.
With both the DSP and the Visuals linked like this
I'm sorry to say this @giku_beepstreet that you're not going to
be able to get rid of me easily even if you wanted too.
dRambonaut for life.
Better pay me for the ink, just printed your last visual
Check's in the post.
Lololol..
Here's another preview of one of the many projects I'm working on simultaneously
Permission to share to the dRambo FB group?
Sure!
Is the toon cell raymarcher preset in Drambo?
Done.
Nope, however it's on the Beepstreet forum activity page.

Thank you!
Continuing to try to use it with hand made elements, experimenting with multiple texture inputs on 3d shapes. Basic example but could be interesting with video shot from different angles or animations (as video exports from other apps). Shader code courtesy of Gemini.
🔥
Cool idea.. Keep em coming!
