@Ryan Do you know what the in-app purchases will be?
Same as iFretless bass. Pay for more sounds. Or do you want the prices?
I didn't even know it was coming...hooray!
.
@Ryan Just thought you had some inside info on what the sounds are. There was no description of in-apps.
@mgmg4871 Oh, my mistake. I don't know what to tell you though.. A bunch of guitar sounds and a synth sound. You'll see/hear soon enough I suspect. :-)
Have you tried to watching the videos in the help menu? I get audio but no video. I tried in chrome and safari.
NVM I was able to watch them clicking on the YouTube icon.
I just bought it with the IAPs (4.99 for the 5 instruments pack) and there's something I don't understand...
It's not in the Audiobus Input Slot unless you launch it first (before AB, which is not usual) and insert your ID after the last instrument icon in the menu (there's something like a "restore purchases" icon there). Then it appears on the list.
Is that normal? I hope not.
I have iFretless Bass with IAPs as well and it doesn't require this.
Nice sounds BTW.
Couple cool features are "x2" which lets you play any of the two instruments together or two of the same. Also, "8th" which also lets you play any two or the same instrument together and this provides for some really cool sounds. Lastly, is "Power Chord" which highlights lower strings and add some sort of effect to those, whatever it is it sounds great!
@FRibeiro The Devs have internet problems where they are located (vietnam I think) and I suspect they weren't able to update the app in the Audiobus dev center, yet.
@FRibeiro There are some issues that complicate audiobus integration with first versions of apps. We will update this afternoon and things should improve when the update goes live. We're very excited about the update because it's got a few cool new things too.
@JMSexton When you turn on the "power chords" each note on the E and A string becomes a 1-5 chord instead of just a single note. I'm glad you like it.
Thanks! I'll wait then. Curious about the improvements!
It's working fine with AB at this moment, apart from the issue I've mentioned.
The app sounds awesome on it's own, and things can get really crazy when you add some effects!
I've just made some experminets with Live FX, Magellan, and Echo Pad (in the effect slot), recording in Cubasis. It's very very cool!
@Blue_Mangoo oh. My bad! Was just guessing. :-)
Nice Sounds and I already buy IAPs now.Good job @Blue_Mangoo.
@mgmg4871
The IAP package of 5 sounds includes the following patches:
1. Snarling Synth
2. Steel String Acoustic
3. Bridge-Mid Pickup Bright Strat
4. Blues Neck Pickup Strat
5. Hollow Body Electric
Instagrab!
Thanks Hans!
App and IAPs bought. Nice job, Hans!
@Blue_Mangoo Thank you. I have it. Great work.
And a restore purchases button!
Videos on help page are all on the Bass. Where are the videos for the new guitar app?
http://www.crystalball.com/videos/ifretlessguitar/
Nah, can't do it to you... Just kidding.
@PaulB, What the.....
I don't think the videos exist yet.
Lol. Didn't try that link, since I made it up. Links to some Oracle predictive software site.
Oh, earlier talk in this thread referred to watching the videos in the help menu. thought I was missing something.
I haven't found any videos for iFretless Guitar, but it has a lot in common with iFretless Bass.
I don't think any have been made yet, its a brand new app and like @PaulB said, very similar to iFretless Bass so the videos should mostly transfer minus a few new features but EQ, layout settings, midi, and etc is all the same
There are not yet any videos on our site about iFretless guitar. But the two apps are similar enough so that an iFretless bass video would serve just fine as a how-to.
We will make a video to demo the sounds in the in app purchase but don't hold your breath because our camera tripod is currently out of service.
If someone else has a video he would like to donate, we'd love to post it on our site.
Thanks for the heads up on this, just downloaded and works just great!
