  • Really enjoying iFretless guitar and bass! Very expressive, beautiful sounding instruments. For me, they feel very natural to play. But... I'm also a bass player who appreciates Jaco, Les Claypool and Tony Levin. I use finger tapping as a playing technique. I'm curious to see how many musicians will approach this app with that same sort of background. It's a different paradigm for sure. : )

  • @Symmetry101 You are the only person I heard bring up Les with this app. I'm in that boat.

  • Absolutely! An awesome song to cover with it. And thanks for posting the video on using iFretless as a midi controller for BM2. I found it really helpful. Especially the concept of using the velocity range as a flexible filter for triggering different samples. I love using this app as a controller for my other synths. I just wish the settings were a little more accessible. I find it kinda awkward to keep sliding on D# every time I want to change sounds.

  • Nice @Ryan. That was quite enjoyable.

The only Les Claypool that I have heard was a superb cover of Pink Floyd's Animal album. I'll have to check out more on YT as well as Primus which I haven't heard of before.

  • I finally got around to making some demo videos. Here's the first one:

  • Class. I particularly liked the hollowbody and steel string performances.

  • Cool demo - years of playing guitar coming through there too!

  • Maybe time to collect all the AB app vids in one place so that newbies know what's out there and what it's capable of??
Maybe if you were to stickie them Seb??

  • @comonstookie, that would be really cool. Sites like apps4idevices do a good job of collecting information on each app but it would certainly help app sales if they were on this site.

We are making these videos with the intention of putting them in an in-app video help system.

  • Looking forward to the "How to use the in-app help video system" video...

  • Yes Blue M.

Lets hope that Seb read it...

  • @commonstookie That's funny you should say that. @thesoundtestroom and I are making a website with all videos in one place. We should be launching it really soon. I'll try to remember to let you know when we do. ;-)

  • Ryan,thanks
Am looking forward to it and know its
    Gonna be a big success.
    Well done.

  • I got a preview of @Ryan's site and it is pretty cool. The content is similar to apps4idevices but delivering the content mainly on video is a wonderful idea. And they are working on a very large collection of videos.

@PaulB, you are right. After we make the in-app help system, we will begin plans for the in-help-system help system.

  • We hope the site will be a like a one stop shop for all ios info..lots of vids, downloads and help..
