An option to hide the keyboard completely would be nice, i know it is done in Thor, Sunrize and Galileo App, thats a feature i have been asking developers of synth Apps for, i wrote to some of them about it also.
Hope this could be done in this app.
I tried with my midi keyboard (novation) and the midi channels working fine. Do you change the midi channel on your midi keyboard as well? I guess your midi keyboard is set to the 1st channel by default.
Thank you very much, maybe adding a live mode ,hiding the keyboard (as kv331audio said) would be the best...
BTW ,when IAPs would be available?
Hi, Yes I think the Qunexus it's set to channel 1 by default will have a check...
But I'm also talking about the on-screen keyboard without any external keyboard attached. If I select a midi input channel away from 1 or all the on-screen keyboard doesn't work for me which is annoying when auditioning sounds and also trying to control it via another app like a sequencer
The apps along with the x/y pads produce some amazingly deep and evolving sounds. I love this kind of thing and this really excels for some reason or other.
How are things going Kvr? Here is hoping the headaches are slowly getting better with time. I really appreciate all of the great work you have done so far! I am still loving all of these deep and unique sounds. Even the new M1 app can not keep me away for long.
We added that to your bug database, should be fixed in the next release 1.0.7 (hopefuly we'll submit in 2 days)
Awesome thanks!
Oh and yes Kvr , thanks for paying attention and being good at interacting with your user base. I know it seems like a no brainier to someone who cares like your team however it is hardly a secret that not all developers are as open to thoughtful user/developer interaction like this.
Agreed. The omnipresent dual X/Y pads are to Synthmaster what the Magic 8 Blocks were to my beloved Alchemy
We'll also add some "smoothing" to the knob/xy movements, like we did on the desktop synth.
Second to that! Thanks for being part of the community. Even though I can't use the app at the moment, it feels good to know that there are developers who care so much about their work. There certainly are others as well, but I think when the developer interacts with users like this that it makes much better products , rather than just using a small team of testers.
As soon as I am able without crashing it you'll be getting money from me! ;-)
I am loving this more even now that I picked up Korg M1 actually! M1 does sound very nice and all but when I go from it to Synthmaster I just find myself enjoying Synthmaster so much more! It sounds great with step poly arp and flux also! I just have a feeling of quality when I play with it. Looking more forward to the expansions when I can afford them in the future.
I did a complete reformat of my iPad after having it backed up to computer via iTunes. Weird thing is that when I restored my iPad, Synthmaster was not reinstalled. I had to download it again from the store but even weirder, it had all my saved presets.
In my 32 gig iPad I had only 3 gigs left, now it has almost 8 available. I installed all my major apps and where did all this space come from?
Oh well, not complaining. Just wondering.
Synthmaster does sound amazing coming from the im1. Which makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Is it worth having both then? I already have Synthmaster and love it, in addition to about a dozen other great synths with hundreds upon hundreds of presets. I don't have Gadget yet. I guess more specifically are both of those different enough, assuming you have all the extra IAPs, to make it worth having both?
I do have all the IAPs and the truth is you don't need it. If you have synthmaster and other synths like you mentioned then you can probably do without this one. But we rarely buy something because we need it, we buy because we want it.
Hehe so true. Thanks for the response.
Anyone noticed that on edit mode the Bus or Dry knobs do not work?
Do you mean "Reset to factory settings"?
IAPs approved by Apple, YAY!
Yeah, that's what I meant. I got a lot more space now. It is so cool!

Yes I can see them now.
Yes! The IAP banks are installing now. Thanks.
Well, that didn't last long.
After installing most (but not all) of the banks, SynthMaster abruptly crashed. Now it won't run at all -- even after I reboot my iPad.I have 8.9 GB of free space, so that shouldn't be a problem.
It crashes anytime I try to run it. Looks like I'll have to reinstall it.
Will probably install only a few of the IAP banks. Would be reluctant to try and install all of them again.
shutupandtakemymoney!
this whole debacle has persuaded me to updgrade to iOS8. first, i have to remember which apps have presets that require iFunbox backup!
@DavidEnglish I had trouble with the two preset bank add ons called EDM Stars. They make the app crash for me. iPad Air 2, 8.3.
Also, just load one preset add on bank, one at a time. Wiat for each to finish loading.
Just remembered this, here's another known issue we're fixing this week: Two preset banks EDM Stars Vol2 and Pop Hits Vol4 have not been submitted to the AppStore yet. We'll do that this week. So until they are approved by Apple, just skip them, don't purchase/download them.
We're trying to reproduce this problem. We'll keep you posted.
