  • Wow thanx man, I got to be patient as I gotta get an iTunes card. Will have the app in a few hrs

touchconspiracy It uses the synth sound as source so no mic-input. Text to be spoken is written in the effect section. (It could be fun and try to make a 'rap-battle' by importing your own vocals as samples and rum them thru the vocoder for a complete mess).

It's a lot of fun experimenting triggering the vocoder with snares and other weird sounds etc :D

My question is if anybody can tell me. Is the audio export stems or final output? Would love to buy this but without export of multiple stems, i dunno.

Not stems, to general paste board, then I paste into Audioshare whole song, I did!

  • Why does it have a keyboard? Aren't drum pads enough lol? Am I missing something? I can't wait to get this..

    @Samu said:
I had to turn off 'velocity sensitive pads' on my Air 2 as it doesn't work reliably for me. Sometimes it makes a sound sometimes no sound. Hopefully Waldorf will implement alternate forms of playing drum-sounds with different velocity (central of pad high velocity edge of pad lower velocity). Velocity on the 'Piano' keys work fine as it's based on where the key is played vertically.

  • Looks nice for sure but I have not had the time to give Diode it's proper workout yet. Oh Doug, any plans for a video or two? How many patterns/ songs does this come with or does it all have to be programmed from scratch?

Are you mad? This is a synthesizer, although it is suitable for drum sound creation!

  • @touchconspiracy The keyboard can be used to play bass-lines, chords and generally pitching the sounds.

The is room for 7 notes per step where each note can have slight offset making it possible to do chords strums, delay drum sounds... I'll try to see if it's possible to do 'drum-rolls' this way, i hope so...

I'm thinking now that Attack is out i can retire Stroke Machine and save my eyes...

@touchconspiracy these tracks were made completely inside Attack (by Stefan Stenzel).

  • Lol sorry, I'm too busy to follow apps pre launch..I don't like to get too excited before releases. I like th details when I open up the app myself

So yes lol, I guess like u say, I'm a bit mad! But in a good way :)

  • Easy, bro!

Gonna be an exceptionally late night tonight..

  • Loving the excitement and buzz on this thread:)gadget needed another mate!

  • The 'demo songs' are also bundled with the app along with some others :)

  • Can loops ie breakbeats be pasted in????

  • No stems, bummer

  • I more than likely need another drum synth like a hole in the head,( now where did I put that drill)?

  • I wish there were a few more videos/examples, I'm sure you can do lots of great things with it but I find the current examples a bit weak sounding to me.....

I see the intro price is until June 26th

  • I've only briefly tried it, but can don't need no more time to tell that is the real delio, amazing stuff.

A quick tip, the app defaults to having the velocity sensitivity react to how hard you tap the triggers (a la GarageBand, using the accelerometer), if you don't like that just hit the "i" to the right/top, press settings and turn the velocity thing off, now the app will determine velocity on where on the triggers you tap.

Dammit, I had been sooooo good for months, not buying any apps at all, but this month's Korg sale saw me get Module, iM1 and Gadget. And now this - I have to have that vocoder!

    Hmm.

Looks like the AudioPaste in Attack is not so very compatible with the new 'improvements' made to the AudioCopy app.

The is no 'paste' in the AudioPaste pop-up unless I for some strange reason swipe to the left select the cog-wheel, then i get another selection and a 'paste' button but pressing paste crashes the app.

Guess it's time to request support for FilePicker & AudioShare instead of AudioCopy...

No, Sir! It sound too great enough for my satisfaction! Of course, Synthmaster and Gadget are king and queen.

I have a run through of Effectrix with Attack on Midiflow! sound pass through Effectrix! The only problem is I have to manual change Attack BPM! It means Attack will not receive midi clock! All in all is fine for me, because Attack is a complete environment I am already happy with.

    Any paste sample in issue?

    +1 :)

  • If u mute all but one track , export that, then repeat, should work..I've done that with other apps..

Both of you are right! Communication problem!

  • @ChrisG Done! Now we'll just have to wait for a reply from Waldorf :D

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm sure it's good...I think my words are just part of my futile attempt to stop myself spending more money ;)

Done what? professor! How is your research on triplet thing for Attack ? Curious on how you do it with Attack?

This app is really a killer for any level. Plus the Nave, modern genre combinations!
