@Crabman
iOS7.1.2, mini 2, Cubasis 1.9
Audiobus is good, but running Attack and Nave through Cubasis with one of the full Attack demo songs and a chunky Nave patch the audio was getting glichy.
Can't get it to sync, neither with iConnectMidi4+ or IODock to Ableton, not in Audiobus, not as IAA with Cubase... no sync settings found in Attack either...strange for a drumsynth...what am I missing ?
"Introductory offer until June 26, 2015 for only 14.99 $ instead of 19.99 $"
Finally, i think is a must for me and with ios 7 support thats really great.
Played with it for about an hour, there is a lot of stuff that I don't like, having a max 16 step is not good for me, not being able to jump to patterns instantly is a pain
Would like to set up 4 patterns and record over the four then have them loop back and continue to record, can't do that, unless I'm missing something.
Would like to loop the song.
The synth engine is great though
It is worth the money
I will demo it, soonish, I need to play with it more, sometimes when I don't like something at first it really grows on me
I'm interested rather than excited about this one, not sure it will fit with my music, but I'll wait for Doug's review before making a firm decision.
That would be great! I've just purchased it. Gonna have a play later.
My workaround for getting sounds quickly into Gadget is:
Create a pattern at 50bpm with a different sound on each 16th note.
Export as a single wav.
Import into Abu Dhabi
Works pretty well.
Quite a lot of built in sounds. About 1/2 dozen demo songs. No genre specific templates that I can see.
This is an excellent and powerful app! For my purposes I don't need to midi jazz or sync stuff, nor is 16 bar or pattern switching a problem either. I'll likely not need the sequencer cause I'm only gonna use to to export 2-4-8 bar loops of things to gadget.
So far it does it perfect, I acp, open in audioshare ( I don't have the acp app installed) then plonk it into Bilbao..
Gonna take my time with it, some need to understand that this app is like gadget, aimed at producers who follow the universal standards of electronic beat based music production. For that, the app needs to have POWER behind it's sound engine, and it has that in abundance, I assure those that are in the fence about it..
There is a lot of potential for deep synthesis here and of course the UI and animations are gorgeous..
Like Samuel said, it's worth the asking price for the vocoder alone! No need to speak into the mic anymore lol.
I added some of the vocoder to a track I'm working on, see the relevant thread I'm gonna start now on it..
I love this app!
@thesoundtestroom
My Lord!
Patterns jump is by press PTN at top right conner! you can jump to any number by typing number only I guess.
Steps can only be shorten by press upper right hand conner "Length" button.
You can chian up empty steps box first on song page, then you make recording. The recorder will follow the chian that you setting before hand! see photo 3. So you can make continuous recording to the end, It will stop at end part.
Thank you Doug!

I'll be only too happy to be dragged off the fence but so far the vids I've seen look best from up here.
@Kaikoo ah I see, this is much better now, thanks
Can a iPad 3 run it? Unlikely I know but just maybe..
What about drumkits are they good? How many are? And what kind of style?
maybe I missed it but I don't see anyone raving about the sampling , how goes it ?
No one on iPad2/iOS 7 here?
The "Sound" section shows just what seems to be the top right corner, zoomed and unfinished (some bluish spots where the virtual knobs are supposed to be), and does not respond at all.
The other parts of the app seem to work ok. And the app performs just fine, so good news for you @Buska I guess.
Up to you mate, I understand your caution, I'm like that too..
I was gonna wait a few days and study the comments here but Samuel said about the vocoder and that made me press the purchase button:)
Up late, slept in, comment explosion! Cyclop was going to be my indulgence of the day; which would you choose @Kaikoo?
Anyone who bougth it, how good and how many presets, are the same than the vsti version?
also like to hear more about this - someone asked earlier, but what about importing a breakbeat or something like that... sample time length limits?
Dr. Googear, This is different from Cyclop, I can tell you some kind genre that Waldorf Attack Drum Synthesizer can not possibly make! however, Cyclop will be true supporting roles for modern genre!
If I can only choose one from the two, I can only say it is Waldorf Attack. Grab it now! Life is short! Be happy you all!
bump
Today is robotic ceremonials day!
runs fine on iPad3...just no sync
Fair enough. Sold.
Fortunately, apart from the miserable sequences, I am a very happy fellow.
And it is pieday after all...
My finger is hovering over buy....now if this was an AU plugin into Auria it would be a no brainer. But as a standalone it feels a little left behind in the bike shed for export/midi friendlyness
@Carnbot I hear you. I bought it anyway. Have the pennies (today) and feel this one will have its glitches/get its updates and likely be used, so why not now? This question being part of my weak rationale game, not aimed at you
How are you getting on with this? I'm still on the fence like a few others due to the bug reports, but Friday night is silly app night and this is just within my whim-budget
I thought pieday was March 14th.
