Thanks for reporting. It is indeed a bug and the next beta will have a fix for that.
I meant to update this thread - I opened the project again last night and it was fine.
I do quite a lot on AirPods and switching to Bluetooth seems to cause these sorts of problems. Some projects always need the buffer size changing for instance or they play out of time.
Hi , trying quiclky last beta update
= clip actions testing
When I launch a clip on track 1 with actions in it :
arm track 4
trigger clip 1 on track 4
, "global stop" doesnt work , and instead relaunches all that was playing / like a global play "
If I then launch another scene with no clip with clip actions in it , "stop" works again
Edit 2 ---> not unarming previous track
If clip action = on track 1 , and i tell it to arm track 4 , it does , without unarming track 1
Edit 3 --> scene action
if on scene 4 i tell a clip to launch scene 3 , it always launches scene 1 = because it doesnt remember the scene number
once the clip actions are closed
Edit 4 ---> number of actions
I don't know if it is wanted ? I can not add more than 2 actions in a clip
One thing I had seen and forgotten to tell you , little one : I always use "start recording on scene launch"
When I open the app , even if already checked from last session/ doesnt work first : I have to simply touch the settings wheel " where it is already "on" , and close it . Then it works fine
You're right, will check what is going on!
This is because of a bug you reported. Previously, it wasn't possible to arm multiple track at once, because each arm action had exclusivity on the other tracks. Now, each arm action isn't exclusive, it will simply arm a track without unarming the other ones. You must use the unarm action on the tracks you want when arming new ones.
You're right, but I think this only happens when you close and open the project. Will also check this.
You can add as much actions you want. Simply swipe down to see the ones that aren't being displayed.
Will also check what is going on!

@sinosoidal, @xglax Thanks for fixing the Apple Pencil editing, really essential for me as I do everything using the Pencil.
I do, however still get these totally greyed out screens and it only happens to LK but I suspect that AUM has some part in it happening (?). I also got, and this has been going on for long hanged tones from almost any synth when stopping a track/session. I have to drag the synth to the side to disconnect and then back and the sound stops, might this also be an issue with AUM? I don't know as I only use LK in AUM.
Do you want a video or do you know what I'm talking about? I mean the hanging sounds.
I have yet to reproduce the greyed out screens with intention.
Is anyone else having this kind of issues? What device and iOS version do you have?

Hi , I use lk on iphone 6 s and ipad 8
On iphone , using the last beta I had a bug , app crashed , and I lost all my projects saved locally on my iphone
I still have a good project on ipad that I saved localy in files , transfered it to my iphone , but no success in opening it with LK
When I want to save a project , only option I see is " local"
Even though , after app crashed , it deleted it all
What is the best way to save projects here ?
( I also connected to my profile in the app , changes nothing )
oh , ok ... the file saved on my phone is an .als for ableton ...

That will only be generated if you choose to "Save As Live Set" on the save dialog

Have you ever tried LK hosted as AUv3 inside AUM? That would spare you from having two projects. AUM would keep your LK session state inside the AUM session, and that would also spare you from changing between apps, assuming you are using one device only.
There is an bank export button when you have the bank selected. You can't export a single project yet.
There is no other way of saving when using LK as standalone.
yes i have tried using lk as a auv3 un aum , but i often work With iphone and within aum , even with lk open and full screen , it is too small for me . I really appreciate lk standalone for a real fullscreen

oh okay didnt get it right , well I am special on this since after years of ableton with sooo many different instruments , I finally chose to stick with the essential = lets say the 12 same instruments ( and each song uses only some of the 12 ins of course ) , that I use for all projects , so I have the same AUM project for all my setlist of songs on LK
( and u assumed right I only use or iphone , or ipad , not both together )
so no way here to transfer a file / project between ipad and iphone ?
Finding more trouble. It is like LK freezes but still works, I can't open properties for clips but it works for scene. It's all very strange and very annoying as I been trying to finish up this project for days now but get interrupted by the fact I have to restart and lose work as save does not actually take, saving the AUM project that is. It looks like I have saved but after restart it's not. Again, I'm not sure this is AUM or LK or both. I find it very strange no one else reporting on these matters.

I tried this workaround since it is not possible to choose in an action clip the number of the scene this clip is on .
Would it not be possible to simply allow that or even really far better , to allow a scene action to choose " current scene playing " ?

Yes, that’s the other option. Loopy Pro doesn’t have multi out yet, but @Michael is going to add it. I’m still trying to decide which is the best workflow.
@xglax Hi , about midi notes in clip actions :
= both "note on" and "note off" messages send the same message
what I did : I midi mapped "arm button" of a track , with lowest note of lk keyboard = C-1 , = note 12
then I created a action clip = trigger / midi / LK / channel 1 / message note On / 12
it unarms the track
then I changed message note On to message note off , unarms the track too

Just tried this and didn't get that behaviour. Have you check if you don't have any message conflict? Or other note on message being sent to LK that is causing the unarming of the track
Okay , I started from scratch with only one clip with one action
I still have C-1/12 midi mapped by lk keyboard on track arm button

Are you giving data2 some value other than zero? Note on with zero data2 won't count as note on events

In clip actions , after "note on/off" choice on the right , you can choose a midi note number (0 to 126)
is it not this chosen note that sends the chosen message in their action clip ?
Yes, that one is the pitch value, but after that value, you have a second one that must have a value greater than zero that represents the velocity
