Anyone using Skym? Keen on some opinions. It's a pity Logic Remote doesn't include something similar.

I bought it and played with it some already. I was really torn as to if I regretted the purchase or not. Mostly because LK has a similar IAP component that does essentially the same thing. I played with it controlling Logic and it's pretty simple and fun. I too tried out Logic Remote to see if there was something already built in, but the XY pads in in Remote seem to only control it's own effects. I could be wrong about that.

The demo video for Logic setup shows it being used to control EQ. I set that up according to the video and it was kinda cool to have your whole iPad screen as a simple XY controller. I decided for $3.99 it was worth keeping... at least for me.

ps. since I bought it a couple days ago, there's already been an update adding some gate/pulsing effects that I haven't tried yet. I only mention that because it's evidently still being developed/improved/maintained

It's 3D Touch sensitive, which is good if you have an older phone that offers it - I don't think the LK IAP offers that?

I played with it using the Apple Pencil. You can map to pressure sensitivity but not angle. It’s also got Bluetooth so I tired it out controlling a synth on my iPhone but using the iPad and Apple Pencil with pressure sensitivity also mapped via Bluetooth. It’s kinda cool. I’ll use it for iOS AND Logic I think. And no, it doesn’t look like my LK IAP X/Y pad does pressure sensitivity.

So yeah, I’m glad I picked it up and it looks like it’s still on sale.

Same here. I feel like Korg is missing out on a decent amount of sales by not implementing AUv3 on a majority of their iOS products. I know that’s what is holding me back. I would absolutely buy the Mono/poly, MS-20, Polysix and Odyssey if they were AUv3.

Earlier in the year I was going to expand my Korg collection and add a couple of Gadgets, but recently (I think it was on this thread) there was some app mentioned that was cheaper and better than adding to Module. I can’t seem to find that comment. Anyone with a better rememberer than me? Thank you!

Hmmm not sure. Lots of the Korg apps also have a gadget version. So if you buy the app, you can also use it in gadget, is it another Korg app?
