Quick question, I am trying to automate the 'Transit' AUV3 effect on the Master output in GR2. I have drawn in a curve and also tried just recording the midi data, but the transit macro nob does not turn smoothly in response to the curve, instead it jumps up in steps corrresponding to the 'dots' on the automation line.
Is there a way to smooth the automation curve in GR2, maybe I am missing something..
I don't think there is any interpretation between automation points. So the best you can get is to draw your automation with the 1/16th grid. That will give you more dots and a more precise slightly less jumpy automation. It will still jump from point to point, but there'll be more points in the jumps will be less. At least that's my understanding of how it works.
Just sat down for a session with gr2 and for some reason none of the standard modes on my launchpad are triggering note data anymore in the app, I'm pretty sure note more used to work last time and I haven't changed any settings.. anyone else had the same issue?
When I say standard modes I mean notes layout and chords, the actual gr2 mapping works fine..
Edit.. must be some kind of bug, restarted app and it works again..
Is it me or exporting song stems have issues? The exports are low with crackles and pops..

Previously it did a great export.. perfect for mixing on desktop (Sonar)… Cubasis here..
Seems messed up now..

Maybe a sample-rate mismatch between the GR-2 project and the Cubasis project?
How do they sound if you just preview them in the files app?

no, they are not programmable «MIDI learn» way.
they definitely react to respective button presses on supported controllers (Launchpads Pro / X / Mini mk3 & Akai APC-40 mk2) – but don't react to RT messages from other controllers.
Would be better if it could be mappable... I can midi learn on Drambo, Cubasis, Aum.
i think GR2 could just react at least on Start / Stop messages since they are standard for MIDI protocol.

Found out that if you load GR2 into FLSM as IAA it syncs the timeline perfectly, this may be a way to add synced wave playback (like lyrics) to GR2... For know I'm using it as a mean to use the flsm keyboard which is way better.

exported the project from my Air M1… No issues.. Seems it has to do with my 1st gen iPad Pro… maybe it’s too outdated…
I doubt it. I still suspect a sample rate mismatch issue. Did you try listening to those files outside of Cubasis?
Yep, listened to them in AudioShare, and one piano track seem to be the culprit (pops and cracks).. the low levels were my fault..
But it went away with the IPad Air export..
Will try another project in time.. maybe this is an excuse to get that Air 13 inch..
