Cubesuite app, yes - that’s the only option unless you use desktop. Btw - I don’t have the pads thing. I have the slimmed down keyboard with no pads, and then I also have the mixer one with knobs and faders but no pads - sorry, i can’t remember the names of these offhand, but yeah, they don’t have pads, so I can’t comment on how good the pads on their controllers are. The keys on the keyboards are ok, though you definitely need to adjust the velocity curve setting depending on whether you want to play louder or softer. On my keyboard, you can do that in the Cubesuite app or on the keyboard itself.
So, I just purchased this bad boy. I like the quality/price aspect but one thing I’ve noticed is that note messages can only be sent on ch1.
Can anyone confirm this is the case or do I have some fault? Cheers
Which mode are you using? In CubeSuite in Advanced Custom mode I’m seeing the option to pick midi channel for notes. Are you saying despite this it’s only sending on channel 1?
Oops, I sent it back before reading your message 🙄
Hi guys. Can I hook up kind of any expression pedal to the Mwave with a cable?
Like this one?
Or does it have to be a MIDI expression pedal? With cable? What should i look for?
Thanks!
It does not have to be a MIDI expression pedal. Just a standard 1/4" TRS cable will work.
Hi, I’m sure I was recently able to use this mixer in AUM using the USB-C cable instead of Bluetooth. It showed up as Simco in my list of midi devices.
Since I’ve tried to use it again I cannot get AUM to recognise the mixer unless I use Bluetooth.
Can anyone please shed some light on how to convince AUM to recognise the USB-C input instead of Bluetooth?
Thanks.
Ok, it only shows as a USB input if I go directly from the USB-C out to the USB-C input of my iPad. This means I have to abandon my USB hub and Anker hub in order to use it. If anyone has any other approaches I would be very grateful.
try midimittr app. I find that if I have problems, this usually helps me connect midi controllers.
