Pretty crazy reply by Korg regarding the StratOST Swing pattern. Just set the endpoint to 29 instead of 32 and it should be a perfect 2 bar loop. Lol.
Doesn’t make sense. The loop is clearly out of sync (too slow).
Seems like they didn’t actually listen to it.
Nice, the latest Gadget update fixed the Swing pattern in Santa Ana.
I noticed it too. Seems they figure it out after all, or did you sent them another message after their initial response?
Released note says: fixed issue affecting some presets in SantaAna. But the subtle double triggers demonstrated in my vid are still there.
But the StratOST Swing was totally out of sync. So makes sense they fixed that.
The new drums IAP, added to Korg Module today, made my Gadget constantly crash on startup. If you run into the same problem, just open Module and switch to a different instrument and back, and then start Gadget. That fixed it for me.
The new IAP is almost a gig and sounds dated.
korg seriously needs to get Oddysey in AU already
Dang...every time this thread resurrects, I think Gadget now supports AUV internally.
Hehe yup, thats the gag (I assume)
That would be amazing to have auv3 support inside gadget. I just love creating inside that atmosphere.
Well, yeah, Korg aren't known for making modern-sounding demos. 😆 I bet I can make better music with it. Reminds me of drums on some tracks from "Random Access Memories" for some odd reason.
That said, I purchased it. May not be a smart purchase for those who own Klevgrand OneShot and mainly use iPad, but for those like me who like mainly producing on iPhone while, say, waiting for the bus, LA Drums seems pretty great.
