You guys are taking your relationship with this developer to a whole new level.
I didn't realise we had one: "if we spend time working on more MIDI and inter-app features, we're building for a small subset of users, whereas if we work on e.g. better internal sounds, we're building for the majority of users."
I must be in the minority then.
I was referring to the "my feelings are hurt" and "I wonder what he thinks about us" type of comments and also your "He's put us in his 'not my target market' folder" comment. I stated my views on the removing of the top stops and velocity editing in this thread but that was simple feedback. You guys seem to be taking it personally.

I'm disappointed he's not going to support AB as I'd like to record internal and MIDI tracks live into Auria, via AB, and considering most of us on here are dedicated AB users the comment is probably more accurate than personal.
Maybe it's because English is not my first language or I'm just not intellectual enough but I really don't know what is that sentence supposed to mean if anything.
@monzo I use Audiobus and I love it but I wouldn't call myself a dedicated user. I have nothing against requests of adding AB to Auxy I'm just making an observation about how far some of you are taking it.
My guess, as English isn't your first language, is that you might have missed the underlying intended tone. As for not understanding me, worry not, it's a common problem. Consider it a bug I'm still working on.
At the moment I haven't updated, due to negative comments I've read about the latest version. Then there's the IAP/everything free/UAP's listed again thing.
I bought the lot, including IAP's, but after reading customer comments, and statements from the dev it feels like it's going backwards.
I guess loyal customers are feeling a tad frustrated. Saying that I don't feel anyone is being unreasonable, tongues seem firmly planted in cheeks.

I've noticed that there can be some confusion here sometimes regarding language.
Personally, I find that I can tend to use certain English phrases, as well as use of my local dialect and the like which make sense to me, but won't necessarily to someone who doesn't speak english as a first language. For example , 'he knows his onions' meaning he has a good knowledge of the subject.
Sure.. We are all persons. IAPs... Dev took money, then made it free. Isnt it about personal feelings and money, after all?

I don't understand and I can't sympathise with people having their feelings hurt because they made the app free. Auxy barely ever cost anything, I paid for the precision editing and I'm glad I did because it's a fun little app, I don't mind supporting it if only with that tiny sum and a short review.
When I say you're taking it personally I don't mean you shouldn't because you're not persons. What I mean is that you're acting almost as if these changes were personal attack at you.

I didn't buy into Auxy - a wise choice I now see, but I did think it had promise, it was an app I hoped would come of age, think it maybe has for toddlers, this is the cutting edge world of iOS? Oh well.

As for Auxy, and how we feel about it all, I think this line of inquiry has probably run its course... until the next update
@JohnnyGoodyear I'm not using 'intellectual' as a pejorative, I was trying to imply that someone has to be a highly learned intellectual to be able to decode that sentence, you wrote it, why don't you try to explain it, I'm eager to learn.
@firejan82 As regards decoding, I guess one reason some folks write word salads is to cram a lot of meaning or crap into a sentence instead of spending a thousand words on it. But in this case I think we should take that kind of discussion or explanation to a (friendly) back channel, lest the kids at the back start throwing paper darts at us (or worse
