My face as I got it going in AUM... Thank you for this @Alexandernaut . Love having it in AU. Haven’t even tried multiple instances yet.
Also I love Mood.
WOW. So excited! Fugue Machine is definitely my favorite performance sequencer, it is so well thought out and designed (well maybe the transpose area could have a bit more contrast ; )
It's truly a joy to play with.
Thank you @Alexandernaut ! Did not expect this update at all!
I sent an email last year with a few minor feature requests and at the bottom had two ridiculous, long-shot dream requests: AUv3 and Universal! Can't believe it happened!
I've always wanted this feature in the standalone app - however, with multiple instances, isn't this rendered moot?
Copy the base pattern to other instances and set the range differently in each instance.
just click pay, if own previous version it wont charge
there are only two apps I badly badly wanted on iphone
Fugue machine ( to compose on the go) and Thor
So excited
Will be even more amazing when we get full remote control over those playheads and other parameters. In the meantime, is there a way of remote triggering starting of different instances? I've not thought of a workaround yet.
Would also like to see access to the standalone presets and pattern changing. although this is possible using AU presets so not as essential.
You can make wonders using several instances of FM playing a drum app like Noise...
Changing the loop brace start/end or the playhead start always resets the playheads to start position on touch-up. This can't be changed, right?
It would need to change if those parameters were to be exposed externally to knobs and LFOs. Otherwise, turning a knob would continuously reset the playheads.
@Alexandernaut Again, truly love this app. If I were going to ask for one thing, it might be a Chance of play per play head. If you're familiar with the Random Tool in Ableton Live, I could see this living in the parameters of each playhead. Here's a screenshot of the cool things you could offer to take the app to another level!

. What's the Chance of playing the notes in the Sequence?
. If a note is played, what choices within the Octave will it play?
. If a note is played, what range within the overall available Scale will it play that note in?
. Will it only play in the Positive, or Negative or Both directions of the Octave and Scale?
. And is it Random within the Chance, or Always the % chance as set by the user?
Anyhoo...even a Chance of playing the Notes in the sequence would be cool
Thanks for listening
Better still - someone make a chance app that takes all midi and outputs the chances /probabilities, so it could be used with any IOS app outputting midi.
FM is killer.
I really want him to get the "new" app out
Heheh...Been asking, begging from every vantage point I have
@echoopera Maybe one of our other MIDI geniuses like @blueveek or @midiSequencer could come with Chance as a midi FX. That would be magical.
+1 on the randomization AU filter!
Quantum does some of this, but I just can't get on with the UI...it doesn't work for me...
An AU version of midiFILTr would be really great. Check it out:

There's definitely a market for a suite of randomisation tools just like the Max for Live ones we're lucky enough to get access to in Ableton.
I think that @brambos's Mosaic is going to be just the ticket for creating randomisation tools. The only reason that they don't exist as yet on iOS is very probably because they have quite a narrow set of users that want them; and on that basis, the time investment for creating such utilities very probably makes them unfeasible from a commercial perspective.
Very good point! Stop making sense, @jonmoore !
Don't worry, I'll soon slip into my usual dufus ways.
Could we also dare to hope for midi input recording one day? That would be so useful too
Pretty neat use with Bleass.
Some other guys demo of musically "banging and tinkling" on the keys with @Alexandernaut Fugue Machine in AUM

Loving the latest update and decided to record a little jam from last night:
And here’s a more complete version with some refinement and just more 🤪
Lovely!
Hey all, I'm documenting all the requests here and will definitely keep them in mind. Thanks so much for sharing. And damn, listening to these tracks... sounding great.
/ I've just submitted another update, 1.5.2. Spent the day reworking the copy/paste interaction for the standalone app. Instead of a long-press, it's a swipe-right.
Here's the new interaction in action:

Feels much much better now, and doesn't surprise you like the long-press could.
I'm hoping to add a few more things before going back to main project. Not exactly sure what yet, but will keep you posted 🙌
Thank you @Alexandernaut for stopping by! Exposing AU parameters would be quite lovely, hint, hint. 😉
Elegant.
Not really a feature request as such as I'm sure this has been asked before but is there any reason that you've never added swing to Fugue Machine or Arpeggionome?
Does this have the midi channel output (Auv3) update as promised?
It sure would be nice..
It was supposed to be! Was working on it and ran into some unexpected complexity. This will be my focus starting now, hopefully won't take too long.
