I've been pressing those buttons wondering what they are for. Even went to the online manual and couldn't find anything. Maybe I missed it. This is great news. I think it should be in the manual!
I recently purchased LK and read the manual. I can confirm the manual has not been updated given the flurry of recent updates. I fumbled my way through thanks to some folks here though!
We have a constant debt to the manual!
The struggle is real. Between new features and an updated manual I’ll take the latter!
@sinosoidal Thought of something with the launch of Atom, it would be super cool if LK supported drag and drop for midi files. This would make importing a bunch of midi files into clips super easy.
Drag from where?
From the files app... that would be so awesome to be able to do that.
@sinosoidal Thinking drag and drop from the Files app. EG Pulse, for example, has the ability to accept wav files from Files app:
So, I was thinking, why couldn't this work for midi files too?
Can you please paint me the whole picture?
Let's say I have AUM open with LK as an audio unit open. How can I open the files app and drag a midi file at the same time I'm seeing LK window?
He probably is referring to slide over

@sinosoidal Yup exactly, as @AlmostAnonymous and @White are showing their screenshot and gif. With slideover, it's easy to drag and drop files. With EG Pulse, it's possible to drag and drop wav files onto the audio unit in AUM.
Guys, you are far more advanced iOS users than I am! I have discovered something new today!
Just stopped in to say... this app is amazing 🤩
Clip launching, midi editing, and all the features make this my go to way to complete a song
Haha, hope you'll consider adding. This would be an amazing feature, just saying.
LK is my favorite sequencer at the moment!
It’s pretty handy as you can put more than 1 app over there...I’m constantly going between files and audio share
Same here, LK is my favorite sequencer 😊
Ditto!!!!!
+1
I love LK. Knowing that I can get from creating/editing a bunch midi loops to poking around to launch them in different orders is great. If I ever perform live again, this is likely to be the control center.
Me 3
Thank you good people for your support and feedback.
This would be incredibly useful! If it could time stretch as well.. Almost like a mini sEGments per clip!
+1 😁
Hi there ! Do you think it would be easy to implement MPE ? Dreaming of ditching my computer for the clip sequencing in Bitwig, which is a quite unique feature. That would play well with the audiomodelling apps.
@sinosoidal
When I try to copy a clip using Shift drag and drop, the context menu pops up.
It makes it more difficult to drag and drop the clip.
I think the context menu only should pop up when I long press a clip without using Shift.
This is definitely one of those cases where an improvements breaks something else and we don't realize it. Thanks this report!
I have a launchpad mini mk3 and i cannot make it work with Lk...is this controller supported by Lk or not yet?
Not yet sorry! But it might get supported added soon (less than 1 month).
BTW, I love
that long press makes it so I don’t have to use shift to add a track.
