  • If you own Auria LE, you can upgrade to Auria, then to Auria Pro.  The upgrade from LE to Auria is $12.99, then from Auria to Auria Pro is the same as the normal upgrade price ($39.99).

  • If you buy Auria Pro outright, you can transfer all your in-app purchases from Auria to Auria Pro.  But you'll need to update Auria to 2.0 to be able to do this (free update).

  • Nda is lifted, awesome! The drum kits in the sampler are fantastic and the flexible routing as well..

  • And @JohnnyGoodyear , these are for you:

  • Thanks Rim. I own Auria LE and updated to Auria. Now I want to update to Auria 2 and then the IAP Pro. If I need to restore my Ipad, Which version of Auria do I need to download? Thanks to be here.

  • YES YES YES.......Alphabetty spegetti lists!!! :D

THIS is interesting. I'm not a huge fan of collecting too many IAPs on any one app. So if I understand this correctly, I'll just update my current regular Auria to 2.0. Then go to the AppStore and buy Auria Pro, which in turn will recognize all my IAPs in the other version I got installed. It'll cost 10 bux more, but that's ok. Will it recognize _all_ IAPs (and unlock it) like drumagog content, MoreVox IR packs etc?

Out now, Taiwan store! Version 2.0
  • I yesterday said, hoping today coming out! haha!
  • @ChrisG, Yes, it'll work that way.  But you need to manually start the process. There's a button in the settings page to transfer purchases from Auria to Auria Pro.  Just make sure you update Auria to 2.0 first.

One more question on this. I noticed Pro-Q and Pro-C are replaced by the new versions in the plugin store. Will Auria Pro still unlock the original Pro-Q 1 and Pro-C 1 that I have in the current (old) Auria 2.0?
  • Yes, the older versions will remain available (just not for purchase).

    Ok then, awesome :) Thanks!
  • @WaveMachineLabs ;

can an I just check that there is a definate upgrade for Auria le coming out. The U.K. Store has Auria Pro and Auria, but no longer shows Auria le.
  • Auria LE is discontinued and is no longer available for sale.  But if you already own it, you'll be able to update LE to 2.0

When I purchased the previous full version of Auria a few months back, I'd read that I'd be able to upgrade to the new version for a 50% discount. When I check the App Store I can only see the new version at full price (£39.99). Where's the promised discount gone for existing customers?

You should upgrade Auria first to version 2, and restore purchases. I'd always make a backup of your projects first just in case... beware though that Pro-C and Pro-Q have gone from the store to be replaced by version 2...not sure what that means because Pro-Q 1 and Pro-C 1 are in the Beta versions too.  Hopefully Rim will clarify.

I'm on the previous 'full' version, but there's no upgrade link or option in the store. I can see there's an update waiting for the version I have, so I presume this will provide me with the link to upgrade to version 2.

My query is, is the upgrade to my current version going to muck anything up? Apart from a few bugs it's running ok, so if I don't decide to upgrade to the new (paid) version 2 then I don't want to be left with something I can't use. To be honest I won't be paying £30 for the upgrade anyway.
  • Is there an upgrade price for Pro-Q1 and Pro-C1 to version 2 or do you have to pay full price? Also can anyone confirm what the upgrade price from Auria 2 to Auria Pro is?
    thanks
  • What is the difference between an upgraded Auria 2 > Auria Pro, and an off the shelf Auria Pro?

Any drawbacks to the upgraded version, like the app name always says Auria instead of Pro? In the future, have to restore upgrades, etc?
  • Yes you can just update. You'll get bug fixes and a murdered out look.  >:)
  • @monzo I haven't tested Auria 2 really, just Auria Pro. Yeah sorry I meant you should update Auria 1 to version 2 then there's a link in the app. I haven't tried any of my old Auria projects in the Auria 2 to give you a definite answer but I haven't had any problems so far with old projects in Pro. But I always export everything first just in case.
  • $49 is around £32-33 uk..  So £39 isn't fair pricing for the feelthy Eeenglish ( of which I am one :)  so what exactly is the upgrade price from auria 2 and how much will uk citizens get stung for. I guess people are being cautious about upgrading auria to auria 2 until reports of stability and functionality come through and the pro upgrade is still to propagate properly. This might be a bit of a waiting game.. If the upgrade is a flimsy $10 discount from the full pro price AND the £ exchange is rigged this might not be such a tempting proposition.. A sample 'player' however sophisticated won't swing it for me... The audio warping once fully demoed elsewhere might just..  But £19.99 upgrade would be my ceiling. I understand the amount of work in these things and don't want to join the inevitable Nay saying.. But it's the  time of year for giving..   Jingle bells. Jingle bells. Caustic All The Way!! :)
  • There's no functional difference between Auria upgraded to Auria Pro and Auria Pro.  However, it'll still be called "Auria" on the icon, but that's a minor thing ;)

    Rim
  • I'm with you Monzo,  a waiting game for general consensus on updating to v2 being all lovely AND a fairer upgrade price for UK users/supporters.
  • UK prices for all apps increased when the government slapped VAT on it, so if you take the coverted dollar pruce and add 20% it's about right.
