For a second it sounded like they sent you the wrong one.
I parse this as Rim, the Betas, you, and me
Hmmm. I like the approach. Counter-intuitive and all. May borrow.
Perhaps the very fact that the 'object' was bought by another (as it were) will see the gut-sweating misery of less than initial Full Joy less in evidence?
You can occasionally find people who say they have seen the app, even beta tested it. But when pressed, a strange vagueness descends them and they fade into darkness mumbling "NDA, NDA, NDA...soon ..."
Its mythical alright, rich with impossible features and wonderful workflows - the iOS DAW to end all iOS DAWs - but no iOS DAW can have all these features and work ... it's just a legend!
The problem i see is,if something gets such a hype before it's available then there will be always be people that will be disappointed finally because the expectations raised a level that you (the developer in this case) just can't fulfill. My opinion is,the hype is justified.I was waiting for two years for this update and Auria is now the first full fledged audio/midi DAW/Sequencer for iOS.That's another milestone.I was waiting 4 years (since my first ipad) for this day.BUT the complexity of this app makes it obviously not for everyone a joy to use.And for many people apps like Cubasis or Gadget are still all what they need for their creativity.I for example just can't work with Gadget anymore because of too many missing features (and the pain to record/export your stuff to other apps). But of course.,that's one of the bigger reason why it has such a nice workflow.Too bad that it's collecting dust.Anyway, the wait is over for me.I don't care anymore about other Sequencer (for now )
I must add, shortly after Rim said they were hoping for late November, he did say "late November early December".
So (if) the case is that they are waiting on Apple, who will know dates and times first.
