After upgrading to the full version of Auria, it now lets me upgrade to Auria Pro. If I purchase the upgrade to Auria Pro, will the app still be Auria LE on the iPad; like it is with the full upgrade?
What then happens in the future when you do an update to Auria Pro; will my version of Auria LE be automatically updated?
Rim
Just want to say thanks again if I haven't already for the update. Will be upgrading to Pro in minutes!
OMG! It can utilize an ext. HD for sample libraries? I'll have to stop reading this thread.. Otherwise it will ruin my finances for a long time...
What a fanatstic app!
Edit: i didn't realize I had access to the Auria Pro User Guide which indicates a https://www.sandisk.com/ixpandflashdrive can be used with a lightning connector. Is this the only option? It would be great to use a larger capacity external hard drive (1TB to 2TB).

Twin presets: Revelation.
Piano Roll: you get there in track view, you know, 2nd symbol in the top row, from left (the wave icon). (The keys)
Tapping in the mixer view, you know, where on the left you have an audio or midi track, you enable record to activate, and on the top you get in with (fx) icon.
In case of a midi track, you can handle 'midi control' things, and next the 'channel strip' things, soundwise.
Kidding. I do have one, barely used, but probably couldn't get much. The manual was obviously written in Japanese, translated into Klingon, then back to Japanese and finally into "English" we'll call it. All hail IOS intuitivity (not a word).
I'm probably making the dive into Auria Pro today, which means I'll rear my head in six weeks to see if I still throw a shadow, or have become a wraith to virtual MIDI. Rock on!
I have Auria. I want to use Auria Pro.
How much does it cost me to do so?
Thanks for the direct answer.
I mean........................ in reality............... I guess you technically could actually get better.
But no one want to quibble.
p.s. The new quote feature is driving me nuts
Your question is if you have already upgraded to Auria (Internally a Pro version), How much you can have to pay for Apple Store listed Auria Pro version? Hoping Rim will give precise answer for us! Maybe this is not the time, but it is in everyone's mind if they are upgrading.
-Midi not as fiddly as Cubasis but still not as fluid as Gadget (I might need some practice)
And I'd like to be able to draw automation faster and in a easier way (to me that's the main flaw)
-I had a few crash while moving some automation points
-Good collection of sounds in Lyra (I also imported a few sfz using ifunbox without issue, although I'd love to be able to custom the notes output of the pads)
-Twin2 sounds amazing !(I might get rid of most of my ios synths)
I'm on ipad mini2 ios9, certainly not the best device to really appreciate the experience, but I love it so far
Thanks Rim !
I think if Apple ever wanted some evidence as to why their app pricing model might need some improvements, it's this thread .
$39.99 US
I don't have any concrete benchmarks, but on my Air 2, I was testing Lyra with a 1.2GB piano sample with 128 notes polyphony and had no issues.

I'm just about to go to a gig - you know, in the real world - but I had a chance to have a quick play before leaving the house.
The touch input/delete/move/extend on the piano roll is very, very nice. Up there with Gadget I think. This is massive...
Please, please, please could we have scale lock on the piano roll though. It means you can just throw on notes without having to think until you get a nice pattern of notes that work. Having to always think about whether notes are in your scale/key really slows this flow down.
I got Animoog as IAA playing off midi notes straight away. Also off Aurias keyboard. This was very exciting. I then slapped on Turnado and some convolution reverb. All good. This is very much good times. I got one crash actually, before I put the effects on, but after that, fine. I was just looping 4 bars messing with different patterns and patches in Animoog. I can tell this is how I will spend many coming hours.
I had a quick look at Twin2. It's all there - but I need to get my head around FFs way of doing modulation and filters. All that XLFO stuff. I know it's powerful stuff though - just needs some learning. It's also quite small and the help text keeps talking about holding down the shift key. But it's gonna be alright.
Lots more to explore.
[With all the hype around this release there was bound to be some drama - I just hope people move on and enjoy the app and continue to enjoy this great forum (for which we have Sebastian and co to thank).... I'm sure they will.]
No, the hard drive support is only for project backup.
Rim
Auria supports any iOS compatible external hard drive, including wifi versions. As long as the drive has its own app and supports OpenIn, it'll work.
Rim
Not sure what's happening here on this thread.
And quite happy.
Going to grab ITunes card later today. Deleted Cubasis and put Auria on IPad. Had bought it sale and saved it for several months until Pro came out.
I look forward to the experience having never used Auria in my work
Slow children at play...............................
Thanks for this.
Would it be possible in the future to support Apple' iCloud Drive (Document Picker) in the same way? That would be a way to also save mixed-down audio exports on an external drive or iCloud Drive; besides whole projects. It would also facilitate importing files into your sampler.
I'm concerned if the products diverge, I could fall victim to a bug or issue with Auria 2.0, while Auria Pro users sail buy.
