Yeah, MB might be a bit of overkill, but I still have mixing issues with placement of instruments, hopefully it will help a bit with that, taming a few problem areas. I don't have any of the Sugarbytes stuff, and I probably won't unless I have money to spend at some point. I bought PSP PianoVerb a while back, and have to say that for straight reverb, it may be my favourite for acoustic instruments, so may pick up SpringVerb at some point. Time to hunker down and do some recording.
Just pick PSP SpringReverb2 up, which is awesome! Total different taste to PianoVerb I had previously purchased with. You are guitar and bass player, you got to try it. It let me feel the power to play with Twin2. So I really like all my PSP plugins including Echo and Warmer.
@Kaikoo, I probably will. I like Timeless for delay and reverb on electric, but there is something about PianoVerb on acoustic guitar that sounds really nice.
Timeless has special tails, all other apps needing.
But, I think YouTube and some demos got misleading PSP SpringReverb2 representation. It is really good for synth sound. It shines on Twin2 filters and it give powerful bass synth sound. You know it is springing handsomely. Just augmenting! I was considering PSP SR2 for a month long and couldn't find why I need it. Now, enjoying at this moment.
I love all of the fabfilter plugs, and abuse several of them (Sorry, pro c, i know you deserve better). Love ProMB but I admittedly feel like a drunk monkey with a flamethrower when I try to use it.
Lol. That's how I feel with most all the apps I have.
Sale ends tomorrow!
Got Timeless and ProMB
Thanks for all the awesome tips guys!
Happy New year
I've spent many hours recording or exporting single "solo" tracks.
OK. So, just to confirm what was said above - are the FF 2 IAPs still on sale?
Still look on sale to me, but it's the last day.
Thanks @PhilW. I just upgraded today to Auria Pro. Wanted to consider my IAP options too. I have most of the original FF FX and was thinking about the updates too. Appr.
heh I just spent an hour getting five minutes from Funk Drummer but I feel all the more funky for it now! Reminds me of 3d rendering.
Special prices are still available as of now.
Picked up MB last night - really interesting plugin, I need to brush up a bit on all it can do - dynamic eq being particularly intriguing.
Very impressive to Fab and PSP. Yesterday bought all Twin2 presets, Pro L, and Pro Q2 to complete 90 % of Auria Plugins.
It is so good that I can comfortably doing whatever I want to mess around sounds. Pro L can really protect my ears and brings many quality ways to clip spikes.
Pro Q2 is stunning to differentiate MiS/Side/Stereo in details, I use IAA Vectorscope app to see those changing images.
Twin2 presets carry FabFilters's quality with.
PSP apps do further resonating on those sounds. I really enjoy doing things in Auria.
Cool. Just updated to Pro-C 2 and Pro-Q 2
Was saving my last $15 for perfect drummer pro but fell for Saturn.
I will choose Saturn! Saturn's tutorial demo video shows you how to use it's XY pad to make drum sound punchy. It has so many tricks for desired fx. Saturn is a transient designer.
Thanks Kaikoo, I think Saturn was a great buy cause it is simply so amazing.
I haven't trying further more. But I think the video's envelope follower can be further modulated by envelope generator to sculpt drum's tail and XLFO to further rhythmic changes on EG, so it is stacking layer upon layer to the differences, that is the specialty of Saturn.
Check out this YouTube video for a quick run through:
I used ProMB on a vocal track with the Single Vocal Preset and it did magic to my track. It tool away a bunch of transient noise and bus completely brought a smile to my face.
@Tarekith,
Cheers, I've watched that one, very useful. I thought this one was good too;
Does anyone know when this sale ends ?
Okay, I just used MB for the first time. I have a piece with two acoustic guitar tracks that were getting lost in the mix. MB has a preset for guitars, "Steel String Guitar Clarity". Applied it, and bam. I'm in love.
OK. You've just cost me thirty bucks AND Captain Kaikoo's going to be mad because I'm going to have to put off buying MidiThing for a week or two while I balance the books etc.
Thanks
Lol
Yeah. I have a few of these which I don't feel/see a whole lot from because I don't know what the hell I'm doing and haven't been studious enough to check the tutes. However having put off buying MB for ages (sticker sickness), I just closed my eyes and hit the buy button AND, yes, it immediately adds ten percent of something important (the top 10%?) to my vocal and that's always worth every nickel.
And I still don't know what the hell I'm doing.
Very pleased to have it despite this lack of shoes.
Speaking the unspeakable about the audio abstract. You have been Quoted. x
I am recommending you:
Buy PSP SpringReverb2, it gonna make your Twin2 sounding great.
Buy Pro-L, it can help you messing around Apesoft's plugin without hurting your ears.
Buy Vectorsocpe, you might already bought it, to see why, what you are doing with all the Fabfilters Mid/Side/L/R/Stereo.
