Sampletank 2 for iOS released
Not available on my country AppStore at the moment but it should be soon, unless it a mistake and it was released early.
Edit: it's available now.

I can only see the 'old' version. What is so 'amazing' in version 2?? (AU-X support?).
It would be great to have a "full" Sampletank for IOS - better multisamples, 16 part multitimbral, selectable effects per voice, full synth engine - just like the desktop (even S2 for desktop). It bet this isn't it!
IK's home page says nothing about this.
I would settle for '1-part with full synthesis engine and effects' as an AU-X
This would allow us to use as many instances/parts as we desire...
I feel the days of 'multi-timbral' iOS-Apps are over...
1-Part AU-X makes more sense from usability perspective.
Even the tweet has vanished now....

SampleTank 2 for iOS HUGE update now available & 50% off for a very limited time! geo.itunes.apple.com/app/sampletank
Looks like more than four part multi to me.
Not in the german store and still nothin on their website about it
If this was true, I would of thought @ikmultimedia would of let us know on this forum. One thing they do well is Advertise there products greatly. Wait and see, really.
Yeah, no sweat about this ;-)
My version of Sampletank just had a 2.0 update .......
And the description calls it Sampletank 2.
Lots of new in app purchases. And 8 parts now.
I am downloading now. Will report back my findings.
Installing update now, looks great
I found it on the app store as an update
Hmmm....
That was a surprize I said!
Funny that I today used Sampletank 3 on my Mac for a very very long time (the iPad Pro has taking over)...
Let's see what it has to deliver... Updating now...
It looks not compatible with iPad4 anymore.
Yep! There we go...... Just came into the Cyprus iTunes Store now....... Downloading now........
Only $20 for "All sounds pack" ?
I thought at least $50... Any drawbacks?
I hope they improved the midi side of things? Sampletank is still a good romulator for sounds.
Now also at my place as an update, nice.
They mention midi learn implemented , so yes, improvements in the Midi area. Now downloading...
Having to redownload as restore is resorting all packs I've bought, yet not letting all bought sounds to be played arrrrrrrgh.
There are many new IAPs and the new ones would come to many dozens of dollars. SampleTank Pro is 39.99€, Alan Parson Imperial Grand 29.99€, Future Synths 19.99€, Elektronika Deep House 9.99€. But the demo samples of the packs sound brilliant.
But wait, this isn't good: I think after the update, even restoring purchases, many of the sounds are missing now, including one of my go-to orchestral presets that was in the previous version.
EDIT: No, my mistake, it's simply that the browsing system is confusing (at least to begin with, it may be better the way it is in the long run). It's no longer all instruments from all packs in big lists. Instead it shows only instruments from the currently selected pack.
Damn. I hate when they do that
Hmmmm...
The description before installing this was'nt true... Not $20....
But, this kind of Pro software is worth much much more...
ok so something interesting I just discovered. It seems that song mode and the live mode are completely different. So be aware if you are playing around in song mode and switch to live mode(which I would assume would take the song mode and make it live mode) it doesn't. Apparently they are 2 different things.
Also the midi learn seems to work great in song mode but when I learn in live mode, it learns but then once I exit the midi learn it seems to forget. Might be a bug.
Finally splits!, so ridiculous that an app like this didn't have that function, essential for live playing.
stopped working on ipad 3 bugger
I can't understand why some of the standard SampleTank sounds are greyed out when I own the full pack?
