Did you buy any of the apps on sale?
Hi!
Just wanted to encourage all who buy apps on sale these days to leave a rating and maybe write a review in the App Store. Its a super way to support developers on! If you find issues with apps though - getting in touch with the devs through support channels will always be the best way since Apple wont allow communication within the App Store.
Maybe make a note here as well to encourage others to do the same as you?
Cheers!

I didn't buy any. Pretty much have them all lol.
I agree though. A review helps especially if you can be fair minded. All too many reviews are ridiculous - I've seen so many one star reviews for apps that are clearly decent to excellent in their own right.
Also do keep in mind that half these apps are going for less than the price of two cups of coffee!
I do sometimes struggle to keep up with reviews, as I have noticed some of my older ones have seemingly vanished. @tonappas does Apple get rid of reviews when updates come along? I really can't make sense of what is happening with them.
All written reviews are 'connected' to the actual version reviewed (the current one). The newest version is always the one who shows, so when a new version is released all the reviews from past versions is kind of hidden...
That means I better spend some time updating my reviews for lots of apps! When I get settled in a new house, I will put in the effort. That's probably around a couple of hundred reviews to do arrrrgh!
I haven't bought anything yet in the sales, still recovering from other expenses. I've got my eye on a couple of things though, so maybe a Friday night special is in order.
Have most things already, but did buy some Launchpad packs as much as a thank you for opening them up to Blocs as anything else.
I understand how it benefits developers, but to be honest, from a consumer POV I don't get the benefit of app store reviews. It seems only in very few cases you actually get to see them, and when you do, there is probably a guy giving one star and another giving five, which leaves you just the same. I mean, I want to support developers, but it seems too much effort to put, in a system that seems broken from the start. I rather buy apps to show my appreciation for the developer, because my review won't probably be seen anyway.
Haven't bought anything because I honestly have more than I need to be creative. However good to give thanks by writing reviews.
I picked up GuitarCapo+ (thnx @tonappas ) and Korvpressor...have left reviews
Is the President-Elect an Orange buffoon???!!!
Yes, I bought apps. And left reviews.
Ive spent $4 so far. I'd love to buy the model 15. I'm waiting on Auria pro, hopefully I can get it at a good price so that I can buy their in app purchases... like DRUMAGOG!!!
Probably best to solicit reviews and such after the hangover -- not during the honeymoon.
I bought Moebius Lab and Limiter from Amazing Noises, which I forgot to buy earlier and Model 15, which I swore I would not purchase. I figured the scrolling would drive me nuts, and we will see if it does. The sound is pretty gorgeous, I must admit.
Model 15 here as well.
Friday is tomorrow. I'm a quiet man.
Audulus will be 50% off tomorrow, sorry if that's posted above
Ahhhh.....now that's one I've been waiting for.
@MonzoPro Whoops... posted that in the wrong thread... multiple Bus tabs open ya know...
I've bought SilQ, iDensity, Moebius Lab, DM2, Animoog for iPhone and Enkl so far. Still looking for some fxs, probably will buy Apefilter after advise of some people overhere.
Hoping Modstep will be on sale tomorrow. Also I'm in for Borderlands granular.
btw tomorrow also Group the Loop on sale
No that's fine, thanks for the heads-up.
Audulus and Effectrix on my list now.
Bought the following:
Model-15
Navichord
Fieldscaper
Soundscaper
SilQ
Xynthesizr
VoxSyn
Rotor
TC-Data
I'm gonna hang up the Do Not Disturb sign, it's gonna be a busy weekend
Bought iSem so far. Might get Enkl and Korvpressor for no good reason. I love this time of year!
Maybe apps could get a rating based somehow on downloads vs deletion rates vs usage stats. Surely, our overlords have data on all that.
Henceforth, rating all apps relative to the morning's coffee.
Google Play store gives number of downloads. Such data are indeed interesting, on the other hand says of course nothing about the quality of the App but it gives an idea of popularity.
btw it are in most cases the complainers that write reviews.
I own all the good stuff. So nothing else is catching my interest. But I'm keeping my eyes peeled until Friday.
All true; though, I think the deletion rates would be telling.
Nothing yet. Noticed that Moog Model 15 is universal but I don't know if I can be bothered with another modular and it could be super fiddly on a phone, like gadget.
May pick up Phasemaker now it works on the iPhone. Don't really need it but have both the drum plugins and they sound great, plus the dev seems a good egg.
I bought ROTOR today. Looking forward to using something different to break me out of my normal routine.
This is exactly what's happened for me, I bought it on launch, and since then it's almost the only app I play with. It's a complete departure from timeline composing...and inspiring enough that it feels like I'm cheating.
Shipped all my AudioCopy purchases into it, (bulk transfer iTunes) also any .ogg and sf2 I can find.
The loopmaking stuff (iSequence, Tabletop, iMPC Pro) now has a new life feeding loops to it. Glad they lowered the price and brought more people to it. Devs are responsive, and have said IAP with extra objects are in the pipeline

Wow. All the good stuff. Rich by name and by nature.
Bought Fugue Machine and ZMH 1. I'm eyeballing iSem. Anybody have/like it?
