what is the point of this thread?

We are waiting on an announcement :)

  • At least the announcement of an announcement has been announced recently. But the week is nearly over. Come on guys, bring it on already!

I think it's not about Trump, brexit or chauvinism (yet). But maybe we can somehow get it there. Or on the other hand, maybe not. Back to MeatBaker 3.

The MeatBaker 3 app sounds like it'd be handy in the kitchen around the holidays if I had an oven so I'll hold out for BeatMaker 3 instead.

  • Ha ha ha... Maybe they will soon annouce the report of the annoucement that was annouced last week...
I love this, this is getting so funny ;-)

    Yepp, funny indeed.

We do have another 'contender' who is also lurking around the corner, BeatHawk 2...

  • Hi guys !

I've got something you might like. Here we go:

  • @mathieugarcia looks very nice thank you for the screenshots, very functional and I'm looking forward to BM3's release, purchase, and use.

  • Is there another word that describes being more than excited? Colors and all love what I see

  • Looks fantastic!!!! <3

  • Thanks for all the support! There is more of the app to discover, but this already gives you an idea of what to expect :-)

Can you post a mixer screenshot please?

  • ...and the sequencer?!

    I love what I see !!!

  • @mathieugarcia Looking good!

    Just out of curiosity...
When importing a *.wav file with 'markers', can BM3 'auto-map' each marker to a pad?
(I'm currently using Renoise to 'slice/mark' my *.wav samples/loops so it would save some time).

  • Appreciate the screenshots, but, we are still waiting on the release date, it's friday. Think before you hit "post comment". Our patience...

  • My God. I'm gonna cry. Beautiful!!!!

  • looks great!

We have multiple "exports" from slices; but yes, you will be able to do that very easily :-)

  • Looks clean. I think they're sharing a font designer with the guys at VirSyn :)

  • it's looks great! i really like the layout and color pallet. very modern and professional looking.

  • 64 pads <3

Not gonna lie, I zoomed in on each of those screen shots so they filled my 12.9 screen and pretended to play them. Yep, feels good.

    Thanks, good to know!
(I've got a lot of files where I've been too lazy to chop up the files to individual files so they only have markers set at beginning of each 'sample/sound'). I somehow feel I'll be transferring the full X-Static Goldmine 3 CD into Beatmaker 3 when it hits the AppStore :D

  • looks incredible

  • love that FX section, the filter display is great

  • Very nice looking indeed (I can't wait to see how instrument sections work, such as the brass section with mixer controls for trumpet and horn in your screenshots)...
Could we have some shots of the sequencer and (please please please this is the most important to me) of the sample editor/chop shop ?

  • can I still join the beta testing team?

  • I am also interested in some info about sampling/chopping /assign-to-pads workflow.
BM2 was great , felt like I was using hardware ,but after some time I realized there where too many steps . Software should simplify & speed-up things ...

  • Oh wow okay. The updated UI looks stunning!! :) :)
