  • There are some other cool sampling modes like this one on the video (you may skip to 1.50)

  • Damn... Another day passed :)
    This waiting game is horror.

  • Wonder what they expect to achive by this hype, creating excitement and expectaions, and then disappointment or nothing at all. Very strange, I don't get at all.

    And Sp555

The SP samplers where great and way more faster on sampling than mpc.(but less than half features!), but the microsampler is the best option for live sampling (although Korg killed it without being able to loop on sampling mode like a kp3)

I don't think they're doing anything on purpose, as far as we the waiting are concerned. I think it's seasonal, there's still excellent snow in Europe for boarding, (small jest but I do hope they're taking time out for joy). (As far as the timing goes these are serious operators with serious depth in software, doing their due diligence on a massive release)

Agreed. I combined mine with Roland VariOS/Dr. Rex for chop ala sp606 but I don't miss them since I have the iPad...

I think we are dealing with very skilled developers who don't have a robust public relations/ advertising team. I think we should go easy on them. I prefer it this way, I think.

You're probably right. Sry for the burst of frustration slipping out.

  • Still hoping for @mathieugarcia to pop in and say "hey guys refresh your app stores" :))

  • @DeVlaeminck no worries, Their announcement strategy is baffling, lol.

@alecsbuga this day will come! ...no one knows when :D

The wait is like trying to get a breath after being under water for too long. Can't take it!

I need this in my life

  • Personally I hope for at least one more beta (It will be my first) so I can give it my seal of approval :D

  • I bet they wished they'd never opened their mouths.
You lot don't let up do you ;)

  • I honestly would buy it instantly even if it's still buggy.
That's what they do nowadays anyway.
My iPhone, my Pixel, my Mac... All of them had problems from day one.

Bottom line.. release it and fix it later. If they're detail freaks like me they'll never release it :))

Or... They're just having too much fun with it and they forgot to release :))

That might very well be the case, and well, maybe adding new features all the time ;)

  • I read a post in a social media group from Matt indicating that the ver.3 release would be in Q2.

no way, they said Q1 on their own forum recently

last post from January 14th, before last weeks unannounced official announcement was announced here

  • We're all eager to get our fingers on it ;)
Q1 or Q2 doesn't matter as long as it delivers it will be worth the wait.

  • Please remember that last year Intua said they hoped BM3 would be released by the end of the year. I'm with @Samu about focusing on the app delivering a good experience rather than having it be out this quarter.

Yeah, and I feel a bit guilty for causing more delays by requesting more features too...
(No, I've not had a look at it yet, that's why I'm looking forward to the next beta).

  • Maybe they're waiting for AB3? Which I think was supposed to drop very soon as well...

There must have been a setback. This was posted in the iPad Musician group last night:

"Mathieu: is "this year" as close to a date we will get? ;)

Mathieu Garcia Expected Q2. Having a safe net is always a good idea, and we want to polish the app as much as possible. Thanks for your patience !

Which is fine with me. I have enough new apps to keep me busy for months:) I only mentioned it for informational purposes as some seem to be under the impression that BM3 will be released in a matter of days rather than months.

  • I just hope the BeatMaker Batch Kit Creator is incorporated into BM3:) That would be awesome @mathieugarcia !

  • Patiently consumed with anxiety, tapping foot in a nonchalant way while screaming on the inside

With options to import classic Akai samples from either CD or ISO files :)

Will the app be universal from the beginning? I'm interested in using it on an iPhone.
