The colour scheme is brighter than modstep though. And even with that I mostly use 30-40% brightness max.
Ha, it sounds like fun! If there are any issues one could always turn on the night shift filter in settings and harmonize everything with a sickly orange glaze..
Woot!
Or use the assistive tools and invert the screen yikes!
Yeah, but it also depends on the ambiance in the room, in a dimly lit room it's quite ok...
As for the battery-related things...
...if Apple goes OLED on the iPad it would be a battery saver but with the back-lit LDCs it's a battery drainer
Plus it looks like... you know, a timeline.
Ha, would be worth a try. Didn't hear any info yet from the developer how the iPad mini 2 is doing in the testing. I'm still no matter what planning to get BM3 on the 15th for my mini and for a future iPad upgrade hopefully some day
Lol. Even in direct sunlight I don't go past 60%. I like my screens dim
in dark rooms I use 10-20% brightness.
I think more info will start to seriously 'leak' next week...
It's impossible to get the 'feel' for the app by just looking at the screenshots.
Even though I have an Air 2 I don't go on and turn on stretch for everything as it is a potential CPU hog.
Most of the time it's enough to process the loop to the target BPM.
Timeline
Fx / automation, sexy sexy and what not are all well and good but I am really looking forward to organising a big batch of samples in SUBFOLDERS on my PC, simply copying the whole tree over in one shot and then simply accessing them from SUBFOLDERS in BM3. It's the little things.
Thanks for the info and it should be an interesting week full of surprises
My Air 2 is around 75-80% most of the time as my eyes are not what they used to be...
Oh... that will start some chin stroking....
Agreed, but I'm sufficiently administrative these days that the odd word subfolders has almost all of my attention.
How many levels?
Simplicity (which is the easy end of infinity
)
When I'm not too lazy I try 'tag' my files so I can quickly sort them
But search works quite well too...
During beta I stopped testing after >15 nested folders
Can we have beatmaker a week early please?
Lovely
Can you midi learn everything? (crossing fingers)
Oh yes I think you can from the web page spiel.
danke danke

Can any do a quick vid with opening a bm2 project on bm3?
Unless something has changed it's currently not possible to open BM2 project files in BM3. The two apps are very different at a core level. I asked for that functionality early in the fall of last year. INTUA said they'd consider it if there were enough request but only two people including myself showed any interest.
+1
Also, what about our IAP?
Will it be the same Intua Store, where we can simply Restore Purchases on BM3?
If not, how can we transfer IAP from BM2 to BM3?
Just tried to load a BM2 project file into BM3 final beta. BM3 doesn't recognize the BM2 file extension.
what is the giveaway? i missed that one
