Have u tried the iPhone version?
It looks pretty cute from the App Store pics
I need bigger phone, can't stand using music apps on my iPhone 5 due to bad eye-sight...
Don’t you mean the remedy ?
That’s too sensible for me- my thinking is that a minute without it will be a wonderful music making minute wasted
Getting what seems to be the equivalent of two electribes in my house during the Christmas Holidays- for a tenner- is too much to pass up. If Samu thinks they will take their place- that’s good enough for me (it’s only a short time ago I was thinking of shelling out for another electribe)
Having said that I do have a fairly large scrapyard of unwanted impulse purchases....... I’m just looking over the fence into it now as the sun goes down - look there’s stroke machine with it’s pistons hanging out on the top of the pile....... and there’s DM2 on its side leaking oil.... covered in rust.
This is the last time I will do it........... until maybe Propellerhead Reason Mobile......... then that will be the last... unless anything too amazing to wait for comes up......
Funny, I have been playing with Stroke Machine and iElectribe again waiting for GR. Stroke Machine is really pretty amazing, but I find I have difficulty with the piano roll editor part. Can really make some amazing sounds, though.
Would love to see the Stroke Machine engine in an AU
aghhh he totally should have named it that!
+1 for that and a 'cleaner' UI to boot. I get a head-ache no matter what theme I use
Waldorfs Attack is pretty capable too but there's something that throws me off when using it.
I'm waiting for the next GR beta so I can verify files.app functionality...
iTunes/iFunBox works for pattern/bank import/export but I'd rather use Files.app.
Bank Export also includes user samples so it will be a good way to exchange stuff
(For now we'll have to 'record'(IAA/AB etc.) the output but proper *.wav and 'Live' export will come soonish though).
So far so good, Files.app support is working

(Pictures say more than thousand words, importing a sample from BM3 to GR-16)
WOW thanks, this is looking awesome.
Thanks for that Samu-san.
Another method would be to use the 'Share Sheet' in any app and select 'Copy to Files' and select the GR's Import folder as the destination. It's also possible to copy multiple files at once but that's a bit tricky (still not 100% comfortable with multi-selection in iOS).
Yeah I have a plus size and it’s just the right balance of portability and usability....Gadget is a dream on it.
I look forward to Groove Rider on it for sure.
If only they knew
PreOrdered
@samu and anyone in the know - how many pad banks? / can it chain sequences/how many bars per sequence/import export options/ says has 34 insert fx are these fx to pads/any instruction manual available?
Appreciate any info thanks
ok, officially looking forward to this one now, despite that skeuomorphic speaker grill
Can't answer most - but I think I read somewhere only 4 bars max. A bit limiting..
16 pads/instruments per pattern each pad has one dedicated insert effect and a global send effect and they all pass thru one master effect. Each pad can also use 'groove template' that affects it's timing and velocity, most parameters can be automated...
You can chain as many patterns as you like, 4 bars per pattern.
Patterns/Banks can be exported and imported, user samples are included in the exports making sharing easy.
Sample Import is preset.(iOS11 Files.app support for sample import is in place, see few posts above).
Ableton Live & Audio Export(both total mix and individual pads) will come in an update so for now it's AB/IAA and and when hosting it in say AUM or AB with Link enabled it works nicely.
AUv3 support is also in the pipe-line as far as I know...
For now see it as a 'Performance Groovebox' not a full blown tool to write complete tracks with.
@Samu do you know for sure that the export option you’ve mentioned are going to be included? If so, it’s still an option for me
Both *.wav (mix & pads) & Ableton Live export are in the pipe-line according to Jim...
That's all I know really...
I’ve pre purchased.
Dedicated website is up... (must be getting closer)

ok cheers
@Samu cheers for info
@Samu and anyone in the know -Not sure what I can do if I pre order - does this mean I get a stripped down version and then upgrade as an existing customer for free on the 24th official release?
Also is there a link to see the full effects lists?
Can it resample to pads?
The one effect per pad is bit limiting hope that gets updated to 2 at least.
Saying that - i do like the look of this app though
Pre-Order is Pre-Order, you get the full version on release date...
It's got enough variety...
Punch, Overdrive, Distortion, Decimator, Bit Crusher, Ring Modulator, EQ's Exciter, Filters, Delays, 'Talk Box', Pitch sifters, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser etc... and most stuff that is found on the Electribe.
Currently no, but that might change when audio-export comes (and well, you can record the audio output in others apps and import it back to a pad...).
Depends on what you do really, for sample based pads each sample has a decimate and boost/over-drive in addition to the insert effect if you don't need to automate sample start/end, filter is also included...
You do also have a 'send' effect and 'master effect' to play with...
It's only $9.99 and already does more than a $350 Korg Electribe 2...
One can always find faults in everything, but what's already in there is pretty darn cool
I don't suppose this will have side-chain compression...? Would be nice though.
@Samu thanks again for info - really does look good Will purchase
Regarding GR it's good to apply thinking like 'Limitations Spark Creativity' which can be seen in plenty of videos on Youtube that only use one Electribe 2. On iOS we have the 'luxury' to combine multiple apps into one performance.
The CPU usage of GR is very low and it runs perfectly with other apps when hosted in AUM
