On iOS11 it’s a folder in Files.app no iTunes needed
There might be a small memory management issue in the release version when importing user samples but that’s already fixed in the upcoming update together with some other fixes.

@Samu : Is there anything you can do with the imported samples (besides the scratch effect) once they’re in there , a la Korg Vancouver (with the fx, etc)?
You can adjust start/end end of the samples live and automate it, enable loop, use the filter on them add modulation and IFX effects etc...

I think you can only pre-order if you are on a iOS 11+ device. I pre-ordered on my iOS 11 iPad because it was greyed out on my iOS 10 iPhone.
