This workflow will make me switch to Ableton Live immediately.
In 20 minutes I can do anything in Live, add a few h/w controllers and it's fun too.
Digitakt is where the real hardware fun is
You have everything to live for! Don’t do it!
Prep work is like peeling garlic and chopping vegetables.
Woa. LFO Destination modulated by LFO... BRAIN->BOOM.
I had been so hyped & excited to get the Digitakt as my introduction to the Elektron world; seems to be an incredibly fun & rewarding piece of kit. Ended up changing mind at last minute & going in another direction with Deluge, which 2 days in and I'm blown away by all this thing can do and how easy and inspirational the workflow is .. Still, I'd still love to eventually see what the Elektron way is like .. What do you think would best compliment the Deluge - Digitone, Analog Four or maybe even Rytm?
Digitakt seems like it'd be overlapping on most of the features; would love to demo one eventually though.
depends on what you like most about the deluge....
Anyone using Penka’s app SRC Transfer with DT?
Still working after updates to iOS and DT?
Worth the investment?
If and when overbridge becomes available, will overbridge functionality and benefits override any convenience factor that this app provides?
Wow. Interesting post made me watch vid.
Glad I did.
I have it but have only used it once when I first got it, will try it out again and let you know my thoughts on it this evening if no-one else has responded
yeah it still works, until overbridge comes out I'll just be using elektrons transfer app as src will probably be better for changing samples often but without overbridge my current samples are kind of in prison for the time being cause I don't want to mess with anything until I get me tunes out properly.... this app is nothing like overbridge so no worries in that regard.
still waiting on this dev to add the promised goodies to strom as well as some good mangling features to src.
Since elektron added sample backup to their transfer app, I can live with Overbridge development taking much longer than expected.
But a full backup and restore would indeed help us to get out of prison
uh-oh

Hey I don't believe it! Finally 😄
I know huh...I wonder if that is the big elektron news I've heard about or if something else is coming
the micromonsta is amazing as well... can't find one anywhere to purchase
Man micromonsta was in stock like 2 weeks againand I almost bought one but I didn’t know enough about it to pull the trigger
Just went on their website and they'll be back in stock in February, it said. But really — what does this bring that you don't have on your iPad already? And you can load eight synths in AB3 or AUM and receive from each of the Digitakt's midi channels.
iPad isn’t very fun to play or tweak live I. I use iPad to make samples to load in samplers but it gets a Lil dull on stge without something g that can be tweaked or played on stage. I use gadget sequenced from digitakt. I’m not sure about the micromonsta that’s why I didn’t get it but I’m looking for something else that’s more playable for performance and since it’s got a small footprint it would be easy to add to my setup. Just not sure about the sound and what’s it’s got going on haven’t really heard much about it.
That's the rub entirely. I was mostly trying to talk myself out of the Micromonsta (or the SE-02 or the Blofeld...).
Haha i feel ya.. I just sold my SE-02 and having been looking at the blofeld as well.. SE-02 was great and I wish I had the money to have kept it but it wasn’t the missing Ingredient from my sound,so to speak, Still looking for that missing piece of the puzzle.
Sounds like we're looking for the same ingredient. What else is on the shopping list? 0-Coast? Organelle?
Lol I’d say so I was just watching Organelle videos. I haven’t really thought about the O-coast but everyone who has it seems to talk highly about it. The new korg minilogue Xd looks pretty awesome but a bit larger than what I’m looking for right now.
