SoundCloud's widgets are really heavy for some reason. Too many on a page causes browser performance issues even on my laptop.
@ChrisG: Safari crashed immediately twice this morning on page 21 ;-) But what's the problem with opening a thread only for gadget songs?I mean, thats why we have a"creations"forum here,no?And - sorry - i'm not very interested in somebody else creations. At least not if that means i have to go through all the crashes. In this thread i would prefer to read the"technical"stuff of gadget.Thanks.
@crabman Ok well, ask @Sebastian or Mickael if they can implement an option to only show links (for people that rather wants/needs that). I think we all could use an option like that actually. I´ve heard/discovered lots of great tracks thanks to this thread, tracks I´d completely miss in a soundcloud dedicated thread since my Air can´t handle those.
So a thread only dedicated for soundcloud widgets would definitely not work at all at this time:)
@PHᐃNTᐃSM
Yea, the widgets sucks! What happened to the old ones...They offered the same functions, without taking up half a screen. Soundcloud and iOS have never really been 100%, despite Soundcloud being a big part of iOS, with various companies and their iOS apps partnering up with SC.
Tip: Create a thread for Gadgets creations and keep in this thread only the links to them.
There's really only one page, amongst the 22 pages here, that is causing trouble on the newest iDevices (it's somewhere back where crabman coined the "iLemon" expression lol). So it's not a big issue, for now at least. We shall endure until Apple finally releases that elusive magical surfing tablet they have soo long promised us all!
Ha, ha, Have a seat while you're waiting for.

Did you read carefully what i answered to you? ;-) It's NOT only one page in this thread and again:what's the problem with making an extra gadget song thread? Not enough attention?I see only advantages in spreading the thread in gadget related stuff and gadget songs.I don't see anybody posting his creations into the cubasis,Auria or Caustic (ok,there maybe 1-2 times)threads for example.Sorry for sounding"conservative"here but somebody else songs is not really related to the topic IMO.I wouldn't care if it doesn't affect my (and others)reading of this thread in a bad way.
Using my elusive magical ipad2 and iOS 7.1, it no longer crashes.
I agree with the separate thread idea though...
@crabman There's room for both Gadget related discussions and people's Gadget creations in this Gadget dedicated thread. A lot of us think it's a great thread to discuss things, to listen to a lot of other peoples tracks, get inspired and so on.
Clear your browsers cache (and any other storage), kill all apps running, reboot your iPad. If you still get problems on page 21 and other pages with only 3-4 widgets, start an off-topic thread asking for advice or something. Please don't derail this one into oblivion (we all already did that once here;).

No problem,i'll avoid this (your?)playground thread then. The last interesting gadget information is quite a while ago anyway.
Pssst!... Has he gone?... Someone post something REALLY interesting...
Ok so i have a question. Sorry if I missed it. I have one track that has 16 bars on it and i am trying to scroll in to see all 16 but it's only letting me see 8 at a time. I want to do some automation on that by drawing in but it would be easier if I could zoom it in to see all 16. Am I missing something.?
Thanks

Just tried both zoom methods (pinch to zoom in/out and the put a finger on the two bars you want the zoom to snap to), and I also only get max 8 bar limit here. Could be something they overlooked when adding 16 bars in the latest update, and hopefully will have sorted out in the next update. Try bringing it up on their official support forum, where they read everything.

Landscape please, give options! Thanks!
Gadget only View in Landscape please, thanks.
Does Korg have a Gadget forum?
Maybe a nice tropical landscape like Jamaica.

There is an Apple iPad Software forum: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=58
Is it possible in gadget to tune the A to 432 Hz?
Is there a way to move the playback position within a scene?
When I'm editing an 8 bar scene with a low tempo, I want to be able to set the playback position right before the notes I've just edited and hear them immediately, instead of waiting for the whole loop to be played from the beginning.

Good question - I've been wondering this too!
No way to move the play head inside a clip (or scene), that I know of. I'd love to be able to do just that tho for the same reasons mentioned above.
Now I'm actually relieved, I half assumed I was too dumb to figure it out. But I can hardly believe they've omitted that, and that nobody ever mentioned it in reviews or on forums...
By the way, here's my first attempt in Gadget:
I like some of the instruments quite a bit, but I find editing in the piano roll way too fiddly compared to Nanostudio.
Nice track, reminded me of Ultravox.
Odd that you find the editing fiddly, I find it very easy and intuitive.
Thanks! I guess I have to get used to it more, often I draw or erase notes when I just want to scroll or zoom, or I move the notes instead of adjusting their length - all the more annoying since there's no 'undo' option. For me Nanostudio has the most intuitive midi editor that I've tried, even better than Cubasis.
Nick and Gaz really like Gadget.
