    Hi @JoHe :) Very nice! Would you consider uploading the patches to the mirack section patchstorage.com so this mirack newbie could learn from the feet of a master? ;)

    This would be great thanks! Wouldn't be using the patch as it, but for learning and to create my own patches. Love those sounds ...

    Try zipping them first if you haven't.

    Trig = When
    Gate = How long
    Cv = How much

    That’s as concise as I can make it.

    Love it.

  • How does one undo any changes? Seems like once you make a change if you don’t know what got unplugged or whatnot, that’s it.

    Undo and redo would be swell wouldn’t it. Maybe that’s a possibility in the future

    In the meantime, I always make a copy of a miRack project before opening it to fiddeld

    Problem being I usually need undo when I accidentally unplug a patch cable and it destroys my whole patch. I end up spending ages retracing my steps to remember how it even works which can be no small task in a big patch. Sometimes a pretty small patch even. Oh well I guess it all makes me a better synthesist

    Undo would be great. But until it is implemented (if it ever will be), one needs to find workarounds.

    I know this has been discussed, but I would like to explain my workflow, and what I think would be a game changer.
    I use an es-9 with my eurorack and vcvrack pc to rout all ins and outs, and sequence modulate in vcv. Then I rout the 4 main outs to my other sound card and iPad for effects in AUM, and sometimes send midi from AU sequencers back to vcv for modulation. I sometimes use only iPad and use Audulus to rout midi to cv, or modulate sequences and AUM for effects.
    It’s such unnecessary hassle, there isn’t any real good support for dc coupled interfaces On iPad.
    If there was an alternative sound module in mirack that could handle multiple channels, it would be a gamechanger. Then I could use miRack and iPad only. The module don’t even need to work when miRack is used as audio unit, I would use it as inter app for fullscreen. I would rout the channels I want to apply effects separately in AUM. This would be the perfect portable rig for me, only my eurorackbox and iPad, total gamechanger. Now I use miRack for sketching and testing patches, then I do them in vcv to make it work on my euro. I luv miRack, but with that final module I would go all in.

    Sidenote, it would have to have all 16 channels as in vcv to support both es-8 and es-9. The es-9 uses channels 9-16 for cv out, and 1-8 for main balanced out, headphones and midi, adat.

  • Interested to see which comes first; Drambo or Mirack Auv3. It's kinda like the space race between the two superstates 😅

  • Are New modules coming?? I really miss more filters...

    Not really. Apples and Oranges.

  • Well, US and USSR had different approaches for getting into space, did they not?
    Both, Drambo and Mirack are modular environments, so Green Apples and Red Apples more likely in this scenario.

    Given that filters are the main component of subtractive synthesis it is sad that there is a lack of variety in miRack. Some additions wouldn’t go amiss.

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a way to communicate the BPM from the host to a module like Clocked? I’m able to make use out of the Clock> output from the MIDI module, but I like the flexibility of using Clocked.

    BPM Tools is good too though, so no biggie.

    We're working with @stellaremodular on an improved Ableton Link module which hopefully will include a BPM out. Or a dedicated host transport module will.

    Thanks. I figured I'd ask since I barely know what I'm doing. BPM Tools works just great though, so no worries. :smile:

    Connect the Clock> output from the MIDI module to the BPM input of Clocked, then tap the Mode + button on Clocked until it says P4. Alternately, keep tapping the Mode + button until it says P16: this will set Clocked to 1/4 the tempo of the MIDI clock, but it's a bit more stable and you can use multipliers on the outputs to get where you need to be anyway.

    @auxmux I’ve actually got Dexter working recently, but there were some UI issues. I’ll fix them and make it available soon I hope.

    any progress regarding dexter?

    I only just noticed that Tides v2 (Audible Instruments' Tidal Modulator 2) isn't included in miRack. It would be nice to see it added!

    A great example of its usage:
