  • Go to the Stagelight website and as you scroll down the instructions are there step by step. Do not skip a step; it worked flawlessly for me.

  • Yeah that’s what I mean. I had a few credits and bought them first in Stagelight. Then I followed the steps outlined as stated above and all the purchases got transferred exactly. Hope it works for you. If not maybe they can help.

The credit rule would make sense as to why i cant get things going, but i only have .52 credit remaining and credit cant be added either.

  • I think the shared account model and cross-platform support across Android, iOS, OSX, and PC is leading edge. I made the transfer easily on all devices.

However, the Roland login screen(s) without support for password managers or even cut/paste AFAICT are abysmal. Fortunately that step is only needed once per device.

  • Man! The built in Electro Synth is awesome!! Specially when you start to add effects!❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • The Silver skin is so cool!

  • Stagelight was great and always got a bad rep for some reason. I think people wrote it off far too quickly.

I’m hoping Roland will mean some of the few missing features such as au midi will he added at last.

  • I don’t think ‘unlock AUv3’ means it can be hosted in AUM, (Hope I’m wrong). Seems to mean unlock AUv3 apps (in Zen) from Demo..
Would be interesting as an AUv3 inst.

Ok thanks. Probably saved me some cash on a useless spend there :)

  • @tja you should just stick to hardware from all the stuff you post on here.

No log ins, no depreciating... always a NICE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

Sounds like you would be a hardware guy no?
But yeah I know there’s that price $$$ factor hehe.

Am I the only one with crackle audio when using auv3 fx?

I am getting mad. Nice when play with auv3 instruments, crackle with auv3 fx.

  • I’m good! Got Discord4 going with no crackers 😳

I had exactly the same thing when I first installed Stagelight. Delete and re-install cured it.

No problem on the Zenbeats install though. Still I’d give that a try to blow through the pipes....

The harsh words on this and other threads are a real head scratcher.

    Congrats on the move @MatthewAtStagelight.

Now if you guys would just allow a variable number of steps per row in the drum instrument all would be good!

I've had a great transition experience so far. Like a fool, I provided the wrong email address when signing up for a Roland account. Roland tech support got it sorted out professionally and quickly. All Stagelight content transferred over without a hitch. I for one am digging seeing the Roland name pop up when firing up the app . ;)

I know of no other App that requires a login.

    Propellerhead apps for one

  • Same here!
I wish I still had my original Roland D-20😌❤️☝️🙏

I feel your pain. I have to admit to being somewhat of a fanboi. I've owned two sets of Roland v drums and am about to purchase my third. :) Wish I had my Roland 727 to sell right now (707 with latin sounds). Going for $1200 on Ebay. :'(

Excellent! Thanks - pretty sure that’s what I did in Stagelight, and forgot.

Yep, same as Stagelight, which mystified me back then

  • edit commands for copy, paste, etc. are invoked with long presses also in the various screens. I forgot that, too.

Anyone experiencing lag when pasting just a few midi notes in the pianoroll? Kinda weird. Otherwise ZB is working better here (so far) than the last version of Stagelight, and now I have an AU or two I like for feeding guitar signal to whereas before I only had IAA Amp/Fx sims so I was out of luck.

    Hi @MatthewAtStagelight
Zenbeats for IOS is not available in the Argentina AppStore (and in some other countries in South America).
Any estimated date for releasing the app? I’d like to transfer all my content from my StageLight account.

    @MatthewAtStagelight
I found on the iPad Musician group (Facebook) that there are some people from other countries with the same issue.
    Any idea what’s going on?

Zenbeats requires a Roland Backstage account which is not available in all regions. I recommend going through the steps at us.openlabs.com to generate a Stagelight key. I'll provides updates on availability when I can.

I cannot even login with my new "backstage" account...

    This is so frustrating.

EDIT: Riddle solved, they require an additional activation of the account...

EDIT2: No it still does not work, even after activation and successful login into the website. The App does not accept my login...

Go here and log a ticket. We'll figure it out! https://www.roland.com/backstage/#/login?redirect=/zenbeats-support

Thanks for the feedback. I dig the feature request too. :-)

We are seeing a few issues with the Stagelight to Zenbeats import process and are fixing them now. I'll update this thread once the changes are ready. Thanks to everyone for reporting!
